⥼ the story:
The audience was holding its breath, the air more tense than a tightrope. It was the biggest day for the fashion community, a world-wide fashion show where all sorts of models from all different countries came and showed off their best style. The runway glittered, and the seats all around it were completely filled. So far, there were many different styles; a tropical flamingo, extroverted bookworm, and nighttime wedding were just a few of the tamer outfits. There were bizarre costumes, and nobody could predict what was going to come next. The announcer up on the stage was glancing around the seats, watching the tension build and build. Once it was at its peak, the announcer, an older man named James, spoke. His voice was deep and authoritative as he said,
"And for our next contestant, Janet Linda Bartholomew, who is here as a.." he paused for a second, and then began with more confidence, "a giant pink mushroom! Give her a round of applause!!"
Before Janet stepped out, it was so silent you could hear someone sniffle. As soon as the model fully revealed herself, it was as if you suddenly turned the volume all the way up. The crowd exploded, yelling and cheering, as the gorgeous lady walked down the runway. She was wearing a huge pink mushroom hat, and had makeup that made her face look like a chibi doll. A simple white dress with a poofy gown flowed around her, and her clacking heels of dirt brown were lost in the noise. Somehow, even with this as her final look, she pulled it off. The crowd cheered even louder when she got to the end and struck her iconic pose, blowing a kiss to the audience.
"JANET!! JANET!! JANET!!" they chanted over and over. "GIANT PINK MUSHROOM GODDESS!!!"
The shouts could be heard for miles, yet nobody cared. In all her mushroom glory, Janet turned away and walked down the aisle. With her dress shimmering and red hair flowing, at that moment, she really looked like a true Goddess of the Forest.
A/N: sorry this was so bad!! i was rushing it, still have lots of homework to do (இωஇ ) hopefully this suffices! it was fun to write, i used this as a warm-up for some writing we gotta do for school,,,
