A few days have passed. You have gotten to know the residents more, as well as listening to Karma's "advice" that was clearly taken from certain musicals and shows. And surprisingly enough, it helped a bit with getting around.

Now that you have gotten comfortable, it was time for your first step to redemption, assigned by Charlie herself. You already ate breakfast, so there was not much reason to hold yourself back.

You entered her office. She was standing there with a friendly look, Vaggie in hand.

You took a deep breath. "I'm ready, Charlie."

Her girlfriend just smiled. "Alright, your first task is to do your chores."

You blinked at her, baffled.

"Wait, what? Are you my moms or something?" You blurted.

"Nope, no mothers here!" The princess laughed.

You simply sighed in defeat, not wanting to argue.

"Alrighty. I'll clean the whole hotel- or at least as much as I could. That's fair?"

Charlie gave a thumbs up with a wink, and Vaggie gave a smile, allowing you to leave.

You walked on over to the kitchen to find Mimzy and Niffty baking together. Perfect! Kitchens can get quite messy.

"Excuse me, girls, but do you need any help with the cleaning?" You offered.

"Awe, thanks, (Y/N)! But that's kinda my job." The cyclops giggled.

You nodded. "Well, yeah, I know, but it's kinda my first assignment for redemption, so..."

"Well, if it's your assignment, I guess it's fair. What do you say, Niffty?" The singer shrugged.

"Meh, I could use a break." Niffty admited.

Right as she said the last word, you got a wet rag and started scrubbing the counters. You'll admit- this was harder than it seemed. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't impossible, it's just that there were stubborn spots that you sometimes had to use a chisel for.

But none of the less, this was somewhat enjoyable, compared to the stuff you did for money before you joined the hotel.

After what felt like hours, the counters were finally good as new. Niffty looked up at you with a sort of admiration.

"Oh my goodness, (Y/N), these counters look like they were just bought! Are you a wizard or something?! TEACH ME!" She squealed, struggling to hug you as Mimzy held her back.
