The first and easiest thing you can do to start your craft is to make some moon water.  Moon Water is probably the Best magickal tool you could use in your craft and it costs almost nothing to make. The concept of moon water actually originated in witchcraft from the early to mid 1800's. Moon water is simply water that has been exposed to moonlight for a prolonged amount of time for it to absorb the moon's energy.

Moon Water can be used to cleanse your crystals. Put your fresh moon water into a bowl and gently place water safe crystals into the bowl. Allow your crystals to sit overnight. Please make sure your crystals can go into the water before using this method to cleanse them other wise they might start to disintegrate.

You can also use your moon water to cleanse your home. Pour your moon water into a spray bottle and and spritz around your home where you feel a "refresh" is needed. You can also use your moon water to brew your tea, and to cook. There are so many uses for Moon Water it is simply my favorite!

To make this magickal water first you need a jar, cup or anything that can hold water. Cleanse your vessel use a celenite wand for Moon water that you want to use in cooking, or drinking and incense for water that is going to be not ingested.

Fill your vessel up with filtered water or tap water and place it outside under a full moon or on a window sill where the moons rays can reach it. Holding the vessel say positive affirmations and leave the vessel on the window sill or outside over night and  in the morning bring your new moon water in and use it for whatever you need

I personally love to use my moon water in my spells and to cleanse my crystals, and altar space. I also love to use it to water and rehydrate my plants, and to make my tea. It is really so universal and you can make a bunch at a time or like me a single jar on a full moon.
