The strange side (Danny crossover with Coraline)

Chapter 1

I roamed around the room with a sick feeling in my gut. But I couldn't figure out what was bothering me, I'd saved the world, Sam and I were engaged and was the new ghost king. I shook my head before heading downstairs to see that no one was home. Making my way to the kitchen seeing a note on the table.

"Danny, sweetie! We have a meeting with GIW so we won't be back till tomorrow night.
                     ~Love Mom & Dad

I'd laid the note down and thought why would they meet with the GIW. I grabbed some breakfast and ran out to see Sam walking to his house. I fumbled to a stop, hoping I wouldn't run her over. Sam moved to the right and watched as I tripped over my own feet. She grabbed under my arm and helped pull me up off the ground. She gave out a laugh then stopped, her smile faded away;
"Umm, sorry I didn't mean to laugh.. I didn't think it bothered you.."
"What! Oh no that's not it. I was just... thinking..." I told her
"So what did you think about that was giving you a troubled face?" Sam asked
"My parents are meeting with GIW and I can't figure out why? I just hope they're not agreeing to something bad." I answered Sam
"Maybe they're telling them to stop bothering you..."
Sam reassured him

I grinned, grabbing Sam's hand before walking to the park. She lends against me as we walk to our usual spot. Though, there was someone missing; Tunker wasn't able to hang out because he was the new mayor of the town.

He gradutaded early and started his job a little after the asteroid came falling towards earth. I was the most popular guy in the world. Everyone wanted my autograph and peers were saying sorry for all the bullying. At first it felt great to be number one, then it started to wear down; making me feel isolated from almost everyone. The day went on, Sam and I went to grab a bite to eat. As they walked, I could feel someone eyeing me. I looked around to see that no one was staring at me nor people giving an eerie vide.
"Hey! You okay? Did you see something?" Sam asked tightening her hand around mine
"Umm... No it's nothing... I think I'm just tired or something." I answered rubbing my hand in between my eyes
"So since you got some vacation time I thought we could take a vacation! And I'd got the perfect place to go to Oregon!" She stated with a smile
"What's in Oregon that's perfect for vacation?" I questioned

She started talking about how she wanted to see if the rumors were true about the beldam that was there at one point. Plus she said it was beautiful this time of year. I wasn't sure if going away from Amity park being the protector and king of the Ghost zone. I thought about the idea and decided to see if clockwork would keep things under control till I got back. Clockwork was fine with the whole thing. He even seemed excited that I was going to Oregon, though I wasn't sure why Clockwork was so happy about it?

I flew back home to see that his parents had left a message on his phone. I'd hoped it was good news and not making a deal with working with the GIW.

"Danny, we are still with the GIW and trying to stop them from doing harm to the ghosts and their zone... So hopefully they will listen.
                      ~Love Mom"

I replied, smiling knowing that he didn't need to worry about them turning on me anytime soon. I went to my room and packed a bag. I called my boss and was able to get work off. Sam and I were leaving the next day, hoping that everything would go smoothly. I just wanted to relax and slow-down for a little bit. I texted Tucker to see if he was able to go... Tucker replied saying that he couldn't go! Had way too much to do. Though he asked for pictures!

I fell asleep and drifted into a dream of stars and planets. Flying around them and feeling at peace. The stars twisted and turned to black holes sucking the planets in. I sped away but was pulled into the abyss by a bony hand. I woke to my blankets wrapped around me, Feeling sweat dripping from my head and back.
