If anyone was in their place, they would've thought that it was among one of them, like an impostor doing all of this. But the housemates didn't suspect each other because of the incredible bond they've formed.
Their trust towards each other is unbreakable now. From partying together on Fridays to horror movie nights till 2 AM... They've grown close, it's like they're a family, someone whom you can lean on when you need.
Those joyful memories they made together, always ruining Yuta's and Sicheng's make-out session, putting each other on silly blind dates, playing hide and seek together, burning down the food together, they mean a lot to each other.
Doyoung sighed, turning off the tap and staring at the mirror. He couldn't understand why life was like this. They thought the officers are out there to help people, but reality slapped them straight on their faces that not everyone is as kind as they look.
The cops refused to believe them instead saying that their housemates weren't missing but just have gone somewhere or are trying to prank.
Yuta almost threw a fist if it weren't for Johnny stopping him from doing so. He felt disappointed, disappointed in this world, disappointed in the people of this world, but moreover in himself.
From the mirror, he could see how water droplets were dripping from his eyelashes. He tilted his head to the side, chuckling at himself.
"You... Kim Doyoung," He pointed himself in the mirror, "Is an asshole. You've always let down everyone and yourself. You ask why things never go right for you, have you ever looked at yourself and what you do?"
He said, eyes turning red and glassy, the finger he is been pointing at the mirror trembling as he bites his lower lip to avoid crying. He shut his eyes and a tear slipped down his already wet skin.
"Everyone come down right now!"
But just then Taeyong had to fucking shout. Doyoung hung his head low, retreating his hand back. He sniffed and walked out of the bathroom.
The environment was so quiet that he was able to hear his footsteps clearly which stopped next to his bed. He bent down to grab the towel and stood straight up, wiping his face.
He threw the towel on the bed and with his head still hung low, strolled out of the room, down the stairs and to the living room where he finally stopped and took a seat beside Mark.
Jaehyun noticed another yellow paper in Taeyong's hand and understood what it may be about.
"So I found another note which is written in English again. Johnny, please read."
Johnny nods and takes the note and squint his eyes to read.
"No one will help."
"Huh?" Taeyong let out in confusion.
"What if it has some connection with the previous note?" Mark suggested earning clueless shrugs from everyone.
"The previous note said 'God help those who help themselves' and now this one says no one will help?" Jaehyun mumbles, crossing his arms.
Yuta groans while pushing his hand through his hair, earning everyone's awareness.
"We need to solve the riddle as soon as possible." The Japanese concluded.
