10:15 AM | Seoul, South Korea

Jaehyun had his head placed on the table, feeling sleepy, the chattering in the room becoming faint as each second passes by. He didn't know what to do. Everything was so fucked up.

Yes, he was grateful that they didn't have to wake up with another of his housemate going missing but what about the ones who have already gone?

His lover, Taeyong, went missing. His best friend, Sicheng, went missing too. And the rest left are depressed on their own. He was just about to go off to sleep when someone cleared their throat. It was the professor, of course.

Lazily, he raises his head to look at the old man in his 50s, with silver hair and round glasses. Something about the smile he had on his face made Jaehyun uncomfortable.

The professor locked his gaze with him, and he quickly straightened his back, pretending to be attentive when his mind is somewhere else.

The professor removed his gaze away, making Jaehyun sigh in relief.

"So I have good news for you all." The old man clapped his hand, smiling like there's no tomorrow.

"You will have your exams in a week!" He exclaimed as he had just won a world cup. Loud whines now surrounded the silent classroom as no one, I mean, literally, no one, wanted to give these exams.

Jaehyun sat there, blinking, having those words processed in his mind. Exams? And that too in just one week? How is he supposed to manage it all? Finding his housemates along with studying his ass off?

Right now, all he wanted was to just go and die peacefully. Sighing, he tried to compose himself, before opening his notebook to write down the notes.

Johnny came out of the class, looking all stressed. Why wouldn't be? The sudden announcement of exams has shocked the whole university as they all hurriedly tries to cover up their syllabus and visit the library.

Giving a small peck on his boyfriend's cheek, he smiled and waved at him before turning in the other direction towards the dormitories. But he had to stop as someone punched him from the back.

Turning around with his glare, he saw his Japanese best friend there, with that healing smile of his, which was enough to cheer his stressful day.

He kept an arm on the other's shoulder, as they walk. After a few silent moments, Yuta finally spoke.

"I don't trust Jungwoo."

That took the American off guard. With his brows creased, he looked at the shorter male.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Don't you think he's a bit suspicious?"

"How?"

"According to you, all the ones who went missing were bottoms, which was true. Shouldn't Jungwoo be the next one then? Why didn't he go missing?"

"Maybe because he isn't dating any of our housemates."

"Tsk. Hear me out completely. Jungwoo was the one whom I saw that night standing up while we all fainted. Also, didn't Jungwoo was supposed to go to the library next street? But before he went there, I saw him in the university library from where I found the book, whose page was ripped off."

"And not to mention how he was the last one to arrive at the dorm after I informed them about the book." The Japanese added.

The taller had his eyes widened, nodding slowly, but a look of curiosity hit his face again.

"Why would he do that? Also, what about those notes? He doesn't know English." Johnny asked.

"Google translate exists. And for about why would he do that, I'm not sure but maybe someone else outside of the dorm could be making him do that." He responds.

"So are we just gonna ignore Mark's whole ass ghost theory?"

"Just to remind you, a human being is also someone who belongs neither to heaven nor hell."

"Ok, you got a point there. But let's talk about this with the rest of them too." The other one nods his head in agreement, as they unlocked their dorm's door. Stepping inside, they found the remaining rest, looking exhausted.

The duo went and took an empty spot on the couches. Yuta looked at Johnny, mentally asking him if he should expose his inner thoughts, on which the older nodded in yes.

The Japanese glanced at them all, sudden nervousness filling his chest. At last, he finally clears his throat getting their attention.

"Guys I think someone from us is doing all this."

"Yuta what the hell are you talking about?" Doyoung consults in a tone of disbelief.

"I also feel the same as Yuta but I don't know whom exactly." Jaehyun voices out.

"Don't you guys trust each other enough?" Mark exclaims in the same tone as Doyoung.

"Guys, guys, guys, can we at least hear him out?" Johnny tries to calm them all down.

During this argument, Yuta had his eyes stuck on Jungwoo, observing him. But the boy only showed signs of curiosity. No guilt or fear, making Yuta rethink what he's about to say.

After they halted the argument, Yuta explained to them everything, everyone was surprised.

"But out of all the people, why would I do it!? I don't know what happened that night, myself!" Jungwoo stood up to defend himself.

"If that's so, then what were you doing in the university's library that day?" Jaehyun asked with his brows raised.

"I went there to return a book I brought!"

"And any excuses of why you came late?" Yuta questions with his arms crossed.

"Traffic Jam." He replies, now glaring at them.

"People I think we should calm down right now. He may be suspicious, but we've no strong proofs to prove he's behind all this." Doyoung announces.

"Doyou-"

"Nakamoto Yuta." Doyoung cuts him off with his stern voice, which sent chills down everyone's spines. No one dared to argue with him anymore.

Huffing, he stood up and walked to the kitchen. There on a counter was a note in yellow colour again...

"One is possessed, but not the impostor."
