In a battle while a soldier was preparing to bring back his wounded friend from the battlefield. Seeing this the captain said, "It's of no use, your friends must be dead by the time you reach him."
But the soldier still goes and brings ack his friend. Seeing dead body of his friend on his shoulder, the captain said," I told you it would be worthless as he's dead."
To this the, the soldier replied with moist eyes " Sir, it was really worth to go back and get it.
When I got to him, he looked at me and smiled and said his last words, "I knew you would come."
Moral:
Some people are worth taking risk and always value feelings of friends and family and be there. Even a small act can be reason for someone smile.
