Qu Feiqing sighed lightly, laid out a sheet of rice paper, and started to sketch.

She thought that she was obvious enough, so why did Su Xin still look completely unaware.

Did she really not know, or was she pretending to be ignorant?

Qu Feiqing's mouth pressed into a thin line. It didn't matter which it was, but if someone provoked her, they shouldn't even think about running away.

Su Xin had willingly delivered herself to her door, and she was welcomed.

Qu Feiqing painted until late at night, and the candle in the lampshade had already burned to one-third. She blinked her tired eyes and looked at the painting.

The painting depicted a beautiful woman smiling in between the flowers.

Letting the paint dry, Qu Feiqing picked up her brush again and thought of signing an inscription on it. However, after a moment, she gave up.

Qu Feiqing lay on her bed after taking a bath. She was used to holding Su Xin to sleep from time to time, but now she felt a bit lonely and couldn't sleep.

Qu Feiqing was a very selfish person. She didn't want to give more love than the other person, wanting to be the sober one, but now she found out that it was so difficult to reduce her love even by just one point.

Feelings were not as light as people say. It would take a while to let them go.

On the other side, Su Xin was still very depressed, sitting on the bed with her eyes open and not sleepy.

"Miss, is there something on your mind?"

Shu Quan asked softly, with drooping eyes.

Shu Quan had grown more respectful and humble. She was now standing there, with a somewhat indifferent stance. Even the smile on her face was less bright, and she no longer shed tears in front of Su Xin.

"Nothing much. Shu Quan don't you feel flustered in this palace, being locked up here for such a long time?"

"Miss feels bored in the palace?"

Instead of answering Su Xin's question, Shu Quan asked one of her own.

"A little."

Su Xin fiddled with the jade bead on her wrist, which was given to her by Qu Feiqing. She felt that it was a very precious thing.

"Can Miss bear to leave Her Majesty?"

Shu Quan tentatively asked. Su Xin's movements stopped, and she looked up at Shu Quan.

Su Xin's eyes were sharp like a needle, and this pricked Shu Quan's heart.

"You knew my plans?"

"Miss never wanted to hide anything from Shu Quan, did she?"

Shu Quan smiled bitterly, she was Su Xin's personal servant girl, she would follow Su Xin wherever she went, but she wasn't blind, it was clear that Su Xin did not want her to follow, but rather wanted to run in the opposite direction to her Majesty.
