Chapter 1

Shelby's POV:
SHELBY! I hear Kian call from downstairs. I run downstairs to see everyone sitting on the couch including mom and dad and yes my parents are Lia Marie Johnson and Jc/Justin Caylen. So that makes me Shelby Caylen. Yes I asked sounding annoyed because they HAD to call me down when I was watching Americas Next Top Model.
Well we all need to talk to you about something we are having a family meeting dad said. So I go and sit on the couch next to Kian and Trevor.
Jc's POV:
I'm actually kinda scared to see what will happen and how Shelby will react to having a brother. Okay well... we were thinking about adopting... IM GONNA HAVE A SISTER!! Shelby screams cutting me off. Umm no you will have a brother Kian explains. Then her mouth just drops...
Shelby's POV:
I don't want a brother I thought to myself. Umm how old I asked. Well we were thinking 16. Sam said nervously. What?! I don't want a brother in the first place and I sure don't want one who is older than me! I yell at all of them. SHELBY GRACE CAYLEN! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK TO US THAT WAY! My dad yells at me. Okay fine I'm sorry I say. Just when do we go get him? I ask. Well we were thinking today and right now? My mom asks me. Sure I'm not gonna be anymore ready for this then i already am I say.
Billy's POV:
I have been in this crappy old ace for 6years my parents got me taken away from when I was 10 because they took drugs and drank too much. They hit me a lot in public until one time someone called the police. And my parents didn't get away fast enough. So I have been to foster home after foster home. After about 13 foster homes they put me in this orphanage.
Today is adoption day and I already KNOW I'm not getting adopted everyone wants the girls and the little kids. As soon as I got here I already knew I wasn't getting adopted. Since I was already 10. It seems like the girls mostly get picked anyway. BILLY! Sherral called she is the owner if the orphanage. I already knew what she was calling me for. It was adoption day. IM COMING GOD! I scream to her from upstairs. As soon as I got downstairs she called me into a room it was a family a huge one! They had 6 adult guys one adult girl and a girl who looked about 14. So I walked in and they just asked me a bunch of questions when we were done I just walked out of the room. The girl didn't say anything that whole time she just looked really annoyed.
Shelby's POV:
After we asked Billy or whatever all those questions I guess he was okay but I really didn't think much of him. I really liked him I think he's a keeper dad just blurts out breaking the silence. Then after we all agree. We get into the car and drive home.
-In The Car-
Billy's POV:
It felt really awkward in the car since no one was saying anything. Who are my parents? I ask. Me and Lia Jc says. Since they told me all their names at the orphanage.
