Why would he still be seeing her

Me & my sister-in-law Bunny walk thru Downtown Santa Monica on a hot summer's day.
My baby Christian is with his uncles Chico&James who both offered to babysit earlier.
Today I told her I was expecting and she was very happy with the news but I told her not to tell anyone yet because she's the only one that knows. I'm planning on surprising Bobby with the news later.
"Where should we go next?" I ask holding a bag with these new black stilettos I just bought
"Ooo there's this cute little shop nearby the pier that has this very gorgeous dress that I've been wanting to buy for a while." She says excitedly
"C'mon." She says as we quickly walk outside
"What's this dress look like?" I ask her
"It's short, tight and red." She smirks
"That is so you." I shake my head with a laugh as we cross the road
*after Bunny buys the dress*
"Thank you." She nicely smiles at the cashier and we walk out
"I can't wait to wear this to Randy's birthday party this weekend!" She squeals
"Girl you gotta help me out! I swear I don't have anything to wear." I look at her with a laugh as she looks ahead with a smile about to say something but her smile drops
"Wassup?" I raise an eyebrow
"N-Nothing, oh look that shirt looks cute!" Bunny says pointing inside a shop before pulling me in with her
"Look, ain't it... nice?" She asks with a fake smile while holding it up making me slightly squint my eyes
"Bunny you don't even like purple turtlenecks." I say I put my hand in my hip
"Tell me what's wrong." I say
"I told you nothing's wrong... Come on, let's go to another shop." She says
"Fine." I say following her and as we get back to the entrance I see some people pass by and I hear a familiar soft laugh as Bunny freezes
"Hmm, wonder who that was." I say to myself
"Yea..." she says uneasy and we walk the same way those people just went.
"Y/n maybe it's better if we walk the opposite way." She says stopping me
"Why?" I ask sus
"No reason." She says but her eyes tell me other wise
"Bunny what's goin—" she cuts me off by pointing at a couple who just sat down on a bench near us
"On." I finish as I notice the guy looks a lot like Bobby, same hair and everything.
"Come here." She says and we lean down behind a bush
"That's him and his ex Latoya." She says as I gasp
"W-Why would he still be seeing her?" I ask slightly tilting my head while my stomach turns and I get anxious
"Idk, maybe they're just friends." She shrugs but we see Bobby grab that girl's hands and she leans in and they both kiss
"Just friends? Right. Is that why you pulled me into a shop to show me that ugly sweater earlier??" I ask
"Sorta." She says feeling guilty
"Bunny!" I whisper yell
"I just didn't want you to see that." She says genuinely
"Did you know about them beforehand?" I ask
"No." She says truthfully
"Oh alright." I say
"Let's go eat something, I'm hungry." I say getting up and walking the opposite way with her
*back in Downtown Santa Monica at the food court*
"Hmm." She nudges me to look in the same direction she's looking and I see Bobby&Latoya walking together arms cruised with smiles on their faces.
"Oh hell nah." I say putting my chicken wing down
"He just had to bring her here too!" She says rolling her eyes
"I swear if she look at me funny imma start a food a fight." I say glaring at them
"Chill it's okay she won't do nun while I'm here." She says eating
"Hmm." I reply eating too
*after Bunny drives me back home.*
*If anything happens call me okay?" She says
"Yeah." I nod as we hug and I get out closing the door and walk to the back to get my bags from the trunk.
"Bunny! The trunk." I chuckle
"Oh yea wait." She says getting out and opening it with her keys
"Thanks." I say getting my bags
"No problem sis." She says closing the trunk and walks back to the front getting in as I walk up to my front porch
"Bye!" She shouts waving
"Bye!" I shout back waving as she drives off.
I then get my keys and unlock the front door getting in. I'm greeted by 'I got you babe' by DeBarge playing on the stereo
"Hey Y/n!" Chico smiles before coming over
"Let me help you." He says grabbing some of my bags
"Thanks Coco." I say then take my shoes off putting on my slippers

You babee." James sings softly while rocking Christian to sleep all while stood up and I watch lovingly.
"Heyy." I whisper as he glances from Christian to me and smiles with a nod.
I then walk to the kitchen where I see Chico snooping thru my bags
"Aww man, you didn't bring any ice cream!" He says disappointed
"Ohhh I forgot." I smile apologetically
"It's alright. So what did you buy?" He asks sitting down at the table
"Okay so, I bought the latest edition black stilettos." I say pointing at one of the bags
"A baby keyboard for Chris." I say as he gets the box out from the bag.
"A pretty white dress for Randy's party this weekend." I say pulling it out and showing it to Chico then putting it back in the bag
"New lipgloss with some cute earrings that match the dress." He nods
"A cute little suit for Christian with adorable shoes that come with it." I say showing him it
"Aww." He chuckles
"And I bought Bobby a new cologne." I say lower while looking at Chico's hands
"And?" He says for me to continue
"What happened?" He says and I sigh running my hand down my face
"Tell me." He insists
"He's..." I stop for a second swallowing down the lump in my throat
"He's... He's????" He says gesturing his hands
"He's been seeing someone, else." A tear runs down my cheek
"Huh? Bobby's cheating on YOU?" He asks surprised and I quickly nod
"Omg why would he—" he cuts himself off wiping the tears I didn't were falling from my eyes.
"I'll talk to him." He says squinting his eyes
"Nooo, just leave it." I say as he pulls me in for a hug and James peeks his head through the door
"I think he's asleep." James whispers as Chico pulls away then walks over to him and he starts whispering to him what I just said.
James then looks at me and back at Chico just as shocked as Chico was and I see Chico taking Christian from James.
"I'm gonna go put him in his crib." Chico whispers as I nod and he leaves and James closes the kitchen door
"Tsk, I knew it!" He scoffs
"Yea yea, you can go ahead and tell me you told me so." I cross my arms leaning back on the counter
"Not. What I was gonna say but, I told you!" He says making me roll my eyes
"Coulda had all of this. But you chose him..." He says shaking his head
"What's in the past is in the past James." I remark
"Me&Krissy miss you. She keeps calling out for 'mama' but you barely come around ever since you had Christian." He says talking about our 3 and a half year old daughter Kristinia
"Keep it down will you? Last thing I need is a scandal about a love child." I give him a look
"Why? You and Bobby weren't even dating when we had Krissy." He says
"We were on & off." I say
"So?" He asks
"So nobody knows I'm her mom and I'd like to keep it that way!" I reply
"What is it? Are you ashamed of having a daughter with me? Orr what? 'Cause I don't see you denying your other child but with Kristinia you act all different." He claims
"Woww hold on. Who said I'm denying Kristinia?" I raise an eyebrow
"I'm just stating the truth." He shrugs and I roll my eyes at him
"Keep rolling your eyes at me like that and watch what imma do." He says coming closer but I walk past him dismissing him
"Just, come see her tomorrow. Please." He says as my hand grabs the door handle stopping there
"Fine, but I think you better go." I say still facing the door then opening it and Chico falls forward
"You were eavesdropping weren't you?" I ask annoyed
"Yea maybe." He says walking in
"Krissy is your daughter?" He asks looking at me in shock and I look back at James then back at him and I slowly nod
"Ohhh. Makes sense, she doesn't look anything like Janet." Chico says as James lets out a sigh
"Does Bobby know?" He asks
"No. Not yet." I say as James looks at me
"Who else knows??" He asks
"Bunny&Mama." James says
"Cool." Chico says
"But you gotta—" He cuts me off
"Yea, yea, I won't tell anyone." He says reassuringly
"C'mon James let's go." Chico says as we walk to the front door
"Bye Y/n." Chico says hugging me goodbye
"Bye Coco." I say grin as we pull away
"Remember, tomorrow—" I cut James off
"Yea don't worry I'll come." I say hugging him too before they both leave and I lock the door
"Gotta go visit my other baby tomorrow." I mumble to myself with a grin
*after several hours*
Today baby Chris ended up playing with his new baby piano, he really liked it so I'm glad I bought it and I also dressed him in the little suit with the little shoes and he looked so adorable!!
Mama DeBarge called too and asked how things were going and how were Christian&Kristinia and I told her they were fine.
The end of the day has rolled around and Bobby's still out. I already bathed and fed baby Chris, I also ate too then got us both ready for bed.
"Mommy!" My little girl cheers from the other side of the phone
"Hey baby, how are you?" I ask with a grin as I look down at Christian who putting his hand in his mouth
"I good! Daddy says you're gonna visit us tomorrow." She says and I can hear her smile thru the phone
"Yea! Then mommy's gonna take you to the park and the movies and we're gonna eat out!" I say with a chuckle
"Is daddy coming too?" She asks
"I-I don't know baby. We'll see." I say
*after being on the phone to James and our daughter for almost an hour*
"Krissy, say bye to mommy." James says
"Bye mommy! Love you!" She says cutely
"Bye princess, love you more." I say
"Bye." James says softly
"Bye." I reply before James hangs up as usual.
I sigh looking over at Christian who's fast asleep beside me, I softly smile putting some pillows around the bed on Bobby's side and some on the floor just to make sure Chris doesn't fall over and hurt himself. I then lay back down and turn on the tv.
*An hour later at 10:30 pm*
I hear keys jingle at the door downstairs then after 5 minutes I hear footsteps coming upstairs and our bedroom door opens.
"Hey babe." Bobby says as I glance at him then back at the tv
"I said hey." He says changing clothes
"Hi." I say and soon hear baby Chris crying again
"See what you've done!" I say glaring at Bobby
"Shh it's okay baby, mama's here." I say laying him on my chest and gently wrapping my arms around him and he calms down dozing back to sleep.
"What's with the attitude?" Bobby asks making me scoff
"We'll talk about it tomorrow." I say not wanting to start an argument
"No tell me." He says
"Bobby, tomorrow. Christian's sleeping and I don't wanna wake him up." I whisper
"Okay fine." He says taking off the pillows I put in his side earlier
"Gimme him." He whispers and I gently pick baby Chris up giving him to his father and Bobby puts Christian in his baby crib, tucking him in and kissing his head.
He then comes and lays back down tiredly.
"G'night." I turn the other way
"Night." He says spooning me with his arm around me making me sigh.
