Sadly, it was the next day and I had to go to work so I slugged myself out of my oh-so-comfortable bed and went to my closest and grabbed my work uniform and took a quick shower before getting dressing. I walked downstairs and saw my sister preparing breakfast.
"I'm heading to work (sister's name)!" I called to her before my sister ran out of the kitchen and shoved some toast in my mouth and handed me a travel cup of coffee.
"You almost forgot breakfast!" She scolded before casually walking back to the kitchen and turned to me again, "I'll bring you some lunch." She added and I nodded as I left the house and got into my car after eating my toast since I was a stickler for keeping my car clean before I drove to work.
Soon, I arrived at my workplace and parked my car in the specialized secretary parking lot before turning off my car and leaving the car after grabbing what I need including my coffee and entered the work building and was greeted by Carl's kind smile.
"Ah. I see the boss didn't scare you off yesterday with his intimidating aura that usually scares off some of his past secretaries." Carl laughed as I chuckled.
"I don't get scared of people easily Carl." I beamed prideful as Carl led me to the CEO's elevator.
"I can't come with you today since I have some more paperwork to complete but you know the way. Right?" Carl questioned as I nodded my head in response before pressing the button I needed to push as I waved at Carl who waved back as the elevator doors closed and the elevator began going up as I hummed to myself to pass time.
Ding! The elevator eventually dinged and the doors opened. I walked out with my coffee and some paperwork I completed the night before and knocked on the CEO's door. I heard a faint 'come in'. I opened the door and entered the office.
"Sir. I'm here." I said as I set my coffee down on a table near me and approached my boss's desk.
"Welcome back to work Miss. (Last name)." Alexander smiled as he turned in his seat towards me.
"Thank you I guess. What is my first task?" I asked as I looked at him.
"I want you to go to the fourth floor and collect the paperwork from everyone about the upcoming project. They'll no what you're talking about." Alexander explained as I then nodded my head and left the office with a paperwork basket I was taught about the day before leaving the office once more to collect all the paperwork.

I watched as (your name) left my office as I sighed as I looked around my office before looking at the work on my desk then up again as I stood up and walked to the window since I was rather bored since (your name) wasn't there to entertain me. God...why does she have to be so familiar but I'm unable to put my finger on it? It is driving me crazy. I thought as I mentally slapped myself before hearing my phone ring. I looked at it and saw that my sister company was calling me so I answered.
"Hello. Alexander Bryce." I spoke into the phone and there was a second of silence before the chief executive of my sister company started speaking.
"Hello Alexander. How is the project on your part going?" He asked.
"It is going well. What about you?" I asked him as I sat in my chair and leaned back in it.
"Also going well. Also, I have a question for you." He stated as I raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Well, I'm all ears." I smiled as I leaned back in my chair and looked out the window at the city outside.
"My wife and I are going out to lunch to celebrate her design success. Would you like to join us?" He asked.
"I would love to join you Sam." I say as I sat straight in my chair.
"Great! You can also bring someone if you'd like." Sam spoke, "Alright then. I'll leave you to your work. I'll send you the location of where we are going at 2." Sam added before hanging up. I smiled as I placed my phone down and went back to what I have been doing.

Two hours passed before (your name) returned to my office with a whole basket full of paperwork. I looked up to see her struggled with the basket. I laughed since it was rather amusing before I stood up on my feet and walked towards her and took the basket before setting it on my filing cabinet as she panted before looking up at me.
"That was heavy. How much paperwork do you give these poor guys?" She asked which caused me to chuckle a bit as I looked her in the eye.
"Too much to count." I teased as she lowered her gaze.
"Well that was very straightforward." I heard her mutter under her breath.
"What was that?" I questioned as she quickly looked up.
"Oh! Nothing! Anything else you need me to do?" She asked which caused me to chuckle once more.
"Not at the moment but you'll be accompanying me on a lunch in with my sister company. No arguments." I spoke sternly as I looked at her.
"Um...okay then." She said as I smiled knowing no one will defy me.

My boss wants me to accompany him. I'm not even dress appropriately for a fancy lunch in with Mr. Bryce's sister company. I looked down at my hands which seemed to be shaking with nervousness as I sat on a couch in my boss's office since he was out of the office resolving a conflict that had happened on the first floor. I honestly sympathized the people who were getting in trouble since this whole office seemed to fear him because of his intimidating looks and attitude but I honestly didn't sympathize them as well because they were the ones who got into the conflict on purpose. Soon, Alexander entered the office with a look of satisfaction on his face as he cleaned up his desk a bit since he was rather OCD judging by what I've seen in my two days working for him. It was rather crazy on how OCD he could be. He then turned to me and we made eye contact which immediately caused him to smile while I sat there rather confused on why he seemed to be smiling as he approached me.
"Ready to go to lunch?" He asked. I gulped nervously before nodding my head. At this point I couldn't form words properly due to how nervous I was about this lunch thing.
He smiled wider and pulled me onto my feet and led me out of the office and to the parking lot where his car was parked in a VIP space and of course, I wasn't surprised but his car was nice as hell compared to mine. He helped me into his car before getting in the driver's seat and started the car causing me to yelp which caused him to chuckle as he drove off.

We soon arrived at a very classy restaurant. I found myself looking down at my outfit feeling underdressed  as Alexander chuckled and got out before helping me out of the car and led me inside before we seemed to be heading to a reserved table where an adorable couple sat. We sat across from them, me looking down at my hands in embarrassment of my outfit as Alexander chuckled and smiled at the couple across from us.
"Good day Sam! This is my new secretary, (your name) (Last name)." Alexander introduced me rather suddenly so I hesitantly waved.
"Ah! She's a beautiful one!" The male named Sam beamed happily.
"She is quite the catch." Alexander chuckled causing my face to heat up in embarrassment.

The day ended just as quickly as it began and I was now getting ready to leave before I was stopped by Alexander. I turned to him with an arched eyebrow.
"Do you need anything sir?" I asked. Alexander opened his mouth as if he was about to say something before he closed it again and released me.
"No. No (your name). Have a great night." Alexander said as I raised an eyebrow before nodding and waving goodbye before leaving his office.
