mrs. katie's pov
i arrived at starbucks and already saw annie sitting down outside with her drink.
mk "hey beautiful!"
j "hi momma!"
she gets up and gives her mom a hug and they both sit down.
j "i got you a pink drink i know you like them."
mk "thank you, so what'd you wanna get coffee for?"
j "well i've been so busy with wedding planning i haven't got much time to see you and i just wanted to hang out before you left because next time i'm gonna see you is at the wedding."
mk "actually you'll be able to see me sooner than that."
j "what do you mean?"
mk "i'm glad you texted and asked to get coffee because i've meaning to talk to you and i just don't know how to say it."
j "well it's fine momma take your time."
mk "do you want the good news or the bad news first?"
j "mmm bad news."
mk "you're father and i are getting divorced."
j "oh, is that why he hardly spoke to me at christmas?"
mk "i don't know what his reasoning behind that is but i don't know why he'd be at you, you didn't do anything wrong."
j "okay what's the good news?"
mk "your sister and i are moving to la!!"
j "what really?!!"
mk "yup we went and looked at two houses today then hayley and i sat down and talked about it and we decided which house we both liked and then i called the realtor and she said we can go sign the papers next week!"
j "that's great momma, i'm so happy i'll be able to see and hayley more and you can help me out with the wedding."
mk "oh and paige is moving in with us!"
j "wait is paige here in la?"
mk "yeah, she surprised hayley at lunch she didn't know she was coming."
j "well that's great mom, i'm so happy for you!"
mk "thank you sweetie, that means a lot."
j "and just so you know anything you need help for the move just text me and let me know, i'll do whatever you me to help with and i'm sure john wouldn't mind helping, you know he loves you."
mk "awe i'll keep that in mind baby, and i love him too, and as much as i love talking to you i should get back to the hotel, i told them i'd be back in an hour."
j "alright bye momma i love you and tell hayley and paige i love them too."
mk "bye jules, i love you too and i'll definitely tell them."
the girls hug and go they're separate ways.

i hug my mom and start walking to my car when someone bumps into me and spills their coffee all over me.
j "what the hell, watch where your going."
?? "i'm so sorry, oh my god. hi jules."
j "do i know you?"
?? "no but i know you."
j "that's not creepy at all."
?? "i'm joey, joey birlem."
j "oh the guy that can't take no for an answer."
jb "ouch."
j "it's the truth."
jb "we'll i'm sorry for spilling my coffee all over you."
j "it's fine and it was nice meeting you but i gotta go."
jb "off to do more wedding planning?"
j "as a matter of fact i am, now if you'll excuse me i have to go home and change so john and i can pick a wedding venue."
i say rudely and walk off

jo "hey ba- woah what happened to you?"
j "joey birlem happened to me."
jo "what we're you doing with him?"
j "babe relax i wasn't with him, i was at starbucks with momma and as i was walking to my car he was playing on his phone not paying attention to where he was going and spilled his coffee all over me."
jo "okay i'll let you go change and then hurry back so we can pick a couple places we want to go look at for our wedding venue."
j "okay baby i'll be right back and i'm just gonna take a quick shower and change."

j "alright babe i'm back!"
jo "perfect i just pulled up some venues and i've got a pencil and notepad right here."
j "have i ever told you how cute you are when your excited?"
jo "yes but i never get tired of it."
i smile and kiss his cheek and we both sit down.

*1 hour later*

jo "so we've got appointments to look at three wedding venues next week."
j "okay i'll text my mom and your mom and let them know so that way they can come with us.
jo "okay babe, let me know what they say."
j "oh wait before i do that i've gotta talk to you."
jo "what's up is everything okay?"
j "yeah it's just when i was with my mom at starbucks she told me some stuff and i just need to tell you."
jo "is she alright?"
j "well her, hayley, and my cousin paige are moving up here!"
jo "that's great baby, but what about your dad?"
j "my parents are getting divorced. and on the way home i was thinking with that happening he's probably not gonna come to the wedding so i need to call him and figure out if he is or not because if he isn't i need someone else to walk me down the isle."
jo "so who'd you have in mind?"
j "well i was thinking your dad could do it, obviously we need to ask him first."
jo "yeah so you call your dad and let me know what he says then we can call my dad and ask, if we need to."
j "okay."
i nervously pick up my phone and call my dad.

j "hey dad"
mb "hey annie what's up?"
j "well mom told me that you guys were getting divorced and you didn't talk to me much at christmas and you didn't seem that excited when john propose so i was just wondering if you were coming to the wedding."
mb "annie, no matter what's going between me and your mom your still my daughter and you know i love you, of course i'm coming to your wedding."
j "so you'll still walk me down the isle?"
mb "of course i will sweetie, i would never miss my babygirls big day. i love johnny he's a nice guy and treats you right, i was excited i just had a headache that day is all."
j "okay, bye dad i love you, i'll see you soon."
mb "bye annie i love you too, seen you soon, bye."

he hangs up the phone and johns looking at me patiently wanting to know what he said
jo "so is he coming? is he walking you down the isle?"
j "yes he's coming and he's walking me down."
jo "that's great baby! now i'll let you text our moms about the venues.
j "okay i'll let you know what they say."

jules: hey guys, john and i just made three appointments to look at wedding venues for next week their all on the same day and we want you guys to be there with us to look at them.
momma orlando💛: i'll be there sweet girl, what day is it?
momma💓💓: of course i'll come.
jules: great, it's this coming tuesday and the first one is at 12.
momma orlando💛: just text me the address and i'll met you guys there, i'll go ahead and book my plane tickets.
momma💓💓: i'll meet you at your apartment at 11:30 and follow y'all from my car.
jules: okay see y'all soon!
