"i'm pregnant!" i say through my tears

johns pov
"i'm pregnant!" jules says as tears fall down her face. i pick her up and wrap her in a hug. "we're gonna be parents!" i say happily. i kiss her and she kisses me back, everytime i kiss her i feel sparks and butterflies in my stomach just like the first time we kissed. i can't believe i'm gonna be a dad. "we need to tell our parents." she says "when?" i ask "tonight, i'm so excited i want them to know as soon as possible." she says happily. "what about our friends? should we have a little get together tonight and just tell everyone?" i ask her "i'll make a groupchat and let everyone know to come over tonight at six." jules says and picks up her phone as she walks to the couch. i grab a blanket from the bed and cover her up.

"i wanna tell them in a really cute way, not just spit it out like 'hey john and i got everyone together to say i'm pregnant." jules says as we cuddle up on the couch. "okay we'll what do you have in mind?" i ask her "how about we go to target, get a plain white t-shirt or a little plain white baby onesie and put something cute on it." she says "is this just an excuse to go to target?" i ask her and laugh "you should know that everything is an excuse to go to target." she tells me and laughs "we'll come on let's go." i say as i get up off the couch.

jules pov
"so in the car i was looking up ways to tell your parents your pregnant and i found these little cards that say how would you like a promotion to grandparents? so i wanna get a bunch of little cards and envelopes and put that on them but obviously change it around for who that card is for." i tell john.
"sounds perfect baby, and while we're here why do you go ahead and get something you might want to help with your pregnancy." john suggests "really?!" i'm so excited. "yes baby, i want you to be comfortable during this time." he says and kisses my forehead. i love him. we get the stuff we need like cards and envelopes and we even find a pregnancy pillow. after we get everything we need we check out and head back home. *at home* when we get back home i grab some pens, the cards and envelopes and sit back down on the couch, john hands me a glass of water and sits down beside me.

john is sitting out the chick fil a catering that we ordered while i'm busy setting up the doughnut box, i took a picture of the pregnancy test before we went to target and got it printed out there so i could tape it to the box, when i open it the top has the picture and then it says 'eat everyone mommy doesn't want to be the only one with a belly!' i did get three boxes of doughnuts but only the top one has the picture and writing.

j "come on in everyone go ahead and make y'all a plate but don't touch the doughnuts yet those are for later! carson and hayden i'm talking to y'all specifically!!"
c "that's rude!"
h "yeah we don't eat that much!"
l "you two are literally only here for the food."
c "that is so not true!!"
ca "hayden you legit asked if there was gonna be food and once john said yeah you said you'd come."
*everyone laughs*

*after everyone eats*john passes out the cards with everyone's name on them*jules sits the doughnuts on the counter.*
jo *as he passes out the cards* "now wait until we say to open them."
j *sees everybody has a card* "alright open them!"
*everybody rips open the card and looks at the two of them, jules opens the top box of doughnuts and pulls the test out of her pocket*
j & jo "SURPRISE!!"
*everybody screams*
mk "how long have y'all known?"
jo "just today, i came home from the store. she was in the bathroom throwing up which she's been doing a lot recently. she asked me to get a pregnancy test and i did."
j "i did originally just wanna tell our family first but then john asked what about our friends and i thought we pretty much are one big family so we put this party together last minute and wanted to surprise y'all."
p "i'm so happy for you guys!!"
*paige wraps the two in a hug."
mk "when do y'all plan on telling your fans?"
jo "we haven't really through about it much yet, we just wanna enjoy this moment for a little while before we tell them"
j "yeah not that we don't love our fans but we tell them everything and we kinda just wanna keep it a secret for a little while."
*everyone talks about the pregnancy and other stuff for a little while before everyone starts leaving, the parents, hayley and paige stay to help clean up*
h "can i have the rest of these doughnuts?"
p "hayley, now that annie is pregnant she's gonna have cravings you can't just ask to take her food."
j "no paige, hayley it's fine you can take those if i want some more i'll go get some more it's not a big deal."
j "hayley, can i talk to you for a minute?"
h "sure jules."
*hayley and jules go to the bedroom to talk.*
j "hayley, i want you to know that just because i'm pregnant doesn't mean i'll love you any less, you'll always be my baby sister and my bestfriend. i don't want you to feel any less important to me when the baby comes okay?"
h "awe anns i could never think that. i know you love me and i know you'll love this baby, but with being a new mom comes new responsibilities and i understand."
j "how did i get blessed with such an amazing little sister?"
h "something tells me caleb talked to god and pulled some strings."
j "i love you so much hay." *starts tearing up*
h "i love you so much too anns"
*they hug and walk back out the the rest*
mk "so do you want me to call and make you a doctors appointment?"
j "yes please, i wanna make sure my baby is healthy."
mk "okay i'll call first thing tomorrow and make you an appointment."
*they finish cleaning and everyone leaves*
*john and jules change and go to lay in bed*
jo "i love you so much and i cant wait for our little bundle of joy to arrive."
j "i love you too and i can't wait."
*john kisses her cheek and they cuddle up and fall asleep*
