The Koopa King and His Baker

Chapter 1

Hi my name is Jacklynn and many don't know this but I'm the younger sister of Mario and Luigi. I know what you're thinking, it must be hard being the little sister of the heroes of mushroom town but no one really knows that I'm their sister. From a young age I didn't like to associate with them often. A few people knew that I was related to them, and I'm fine with it. Today I'm moving into my own house. I'm super excited to be starting my own life. I'm in my room packing the last of my stuff. I hear a knock on the door as I'm putting my last item into my bag. I go and open the door and see that it's Mario.

"Hey bro, whatcha doing?" I ask.

"I came to see if you're ready to go to your new house." said Mario. He came into the room and looked around at the empty walls.

"Yeah I just got done packing the rest of my stuff. I'm going to miss this place." I said, turning to Mario, getting a little emotional.

"Hey isa okay. We won't be living that far apart. We can see each other all the time." Mario said while giving me a hug. Luigi came in to see what we were doing. I motioned him over to join our hug to make it a big family hug. After a few minutes we split apart and I grabbed my bag and with one last look around the room we left and went to the front door. We went to Luigi's cart that had the last of my bags. We all loaded up and drove to my new house that was on the very outside of the town.

When we got there I looked at my house and I couldn't help but get excited. My house is a two story house with a shop on the first floor, the upstairs has a kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one is in the master bedroom. I will be putting a bakery in the down stairs shop. I know it's weird, Mario and Luigi's sister bake instead of working on pipes and plumbing like they do but I just love to bake and create beautiful and amazing pieces of 'art' with food. That's why my house is where it is. I want to create a place where both good and evil can come in and buy sweets. Maybe it'll help everyone get along better. When Luigi stopped the cart we all hopped out and started grabbing the few bags that we brought with us and went into the house.

"Wow sis I can't wait to see what you do with the place. It's huge!" Luigi exclaimed in awe while looking around the kitchen.

"I can't wait either. I know you'll make it look amazing!" said Mario.

"Thank you guys. You two are the best." I said feeling like I could do anything now. We went upstairs and started unpacking everything. I have been working on my house for a week so we didn't have much to do. The bakery will be able to be open in the morning. It's going to be a huge opening since Princess Peach decided to come to the grand opening. That will definitely help with business. When I get everything where I want it we all head down stairs where I go into the kitchen and start bringing ingredients out. I grab everything I need and I get Mario and Luigi set up so they can help me make some cupcakes, small cakes, and other pastries. After dividing everything we all started to mix all the ingredients. Once everything is done we get everything into the pans and got them all into the ovens. We ended up with 40 dozen cupcakes, 100 tarts, 100 small cakes, 40 pies, and one big cake that I'm going to decorate to show off my decorating skills. Everything is going to be sold half off since its opening day.

"Hey Jacky, we need to get going. We'll come by in the morning to help set everything up with you. Don't work too long okay you're going to need your rest for tomorrow." Mario said.

"Don't worry. All that is left for me to do is to decorate everything. I have to make the rest in the morning so nothing goes stale." I said as I walked them both to the front of the shop.

"Okay then. We'll be here in the morning. Love you sis!" Luigi said. They both gave me a hug before they got to the cart and drove away. I go back inside and start making all the icing and decorations while everything is still cooking. Once I finish I set everything aside and start cleaning up. When the timer goes off I put everything into the big freezers that I have so everything can cool faster. I go out into the main store and start getting everything set up and ready for tomorrow. When I get done an hour later it's time to start making the sweets look amazing. It took me eight hours to get everything finished and I was exhausted. As soon as I got up stairs I got ready for bed since I needed to be up early in the morning to make all the bread. As soon as my head hit the pillow it was lights out.
