At the Mall
At the mall, Aarav and Manvi entered, holding hands. He looked at her and asked, "Kya chahiye tumhe?"
Manvi gave him a playful look. "Yeh bhi mujhe batana padega?"
Aarav chuckled, "Nahi, baad mein tum complain karogi meri pasand ka nahi dilwaya, isliye puch raha hoon."
Manvi smiled, resting her head on his shoulder as they walked towards the shops. "Tumhari di hui har cheez mujhe pasand aati hai, Aarav."
Aarav smiled back, and they entered a shop. He wandered over to the toy section and picked up a large teddy bear. "How about this?" he asked, holding it up for her to see.
Manvi eyed the bear and smiled. "It's cute... par ghar mein tum itne saare le aaye ho already."
Aarav put the teddy bear back and moved to the handbag section, while Manvi pointed towards a dress. Without even glancing at the price, Aarav picked it up. Manvi noticed the price tag and quickly protested, "Par it's costly."
Aarav lightly tapped her cheek and said, "Tumhari khushi se zyada toh nahi hai na."
Manvi smiled at his sweet gesture. Aarav thought for a moment and then said, "Tum kuch aur dekho, main aata hoon kuch der mein."
"Kaha chale?" Manvi asked, curious.
"Jab tak tum payment karogi, main aa jaunga," Aarav assured her and left. Manvi sighed and decided to look for something for Aarav, knowing he wouldn't get anything for himself.
Aarav entered another shop and asked the sales lady to show him some sarees. He quickly selected a beautiful blue saree for his mother and instructed, "Aap ise pack kar dijiye."
He then made the payment and headed to another shop, picking up a few more items. Returning to the shop where Manvi was waiting, he was met with her playful scolding, "Kuch der bolke tumne pura ek ghanta laga diya Aarav..."
"Sorry, wo maa papa ke liye le raha tha, toh time lag gaya," Aarav replied.
Manvi eyed him suspiciously, "Acha, aisa kya liya jo itna time lag gaya?"
"Kya sawal jawab kar rahi ho... ghar pe tumhe dikhaunga. Chalo, abhi kuch khate hai. Aise haal mein tumhe zyada der bhooka nahi rehna chahiye," he said, taking the shopping bags from her hands.
Manvi smiled and walked with him. She wanted to have street food, but Aarav was concerned about her health. "Nahi Manvi... US ka khana aur yahan ka khana alag hota hai... tumhari tabiyat kharab ho jayegi," he cautioned.
"Aarav please na... thoda sa khaungi," she pleaded, making a cute face.
"No... pichli baar tumhari tabiyat kitni kharab hui thi," he denied firmly.
Manvi got angry and refused to eat anything else. "Thik hai phir mujhe kuch aur bhi nahi khana hai," she said, walking out of the mall towards the car.
Aarav, puzzled by her changing moods, followed her and placed the bags in the car's trunk. Sitting in the car, he looked at her, worried. "Manvi, aise behave mat karo. Please, kuch kha lo... itna waqt ho gaya hai."
"Street food," she insisted adamantly.
Realizing he couldn't win, Aarav gave in and took her to the famous Mumbai street food stalls. They enjoyed the food, and Aarav even packed some items for Ruhana and Vineet, knowing their favorite treats.
As they ate, Aarav checked the time. "Chalo, port chalna hai... pahuchne mein bhi waqt lagega," he said, noting it was already 5 PM.
"Par wo udhar ice-cream waala hai," Manvi pointed out, spotting a nearby vendor.
