I woke the next morning with terrible news that Harry Potter was competing in the Triwizard Tournament. I got on my outfit for today before storming to Dumbledore's office.

I got into Dumbledore's office to see Dumbledore, Professor Mcgonagall and my Dad in a conversation. They all looked at me.

"So that's it? You're just going to let Potter compete?" I asked.

"The Goblet of Fire has chosen, Haylie. It's final", Dumbledore said.

"Could you be anymore stupid?" I asked.

"Haylie", Father said, but I didn't listen.

"Who cares about some dumb rules? He's just a boy. He's too young. And you just want to throw him out there like a pig for slaughter?" I asked.

"I'm not happy about this either, Haylie, but we can't break the rules", Dumbledore said.

"What about the rule which states a competitor must be 17 years to compete in the Triwizard Tournament?" I asked.

"Haylie, we don't have-"

"You don't have any other choice? You do. You just don't want to make the right choice", I said.

I walked out of the room without another word.

Many weeks had passed by. Before I knew it, the first part of the Triwizard Tournament came.

I sat with the teachers and a news reporter, who I hated, Rita Skeeter. Rita enjoys making people look bad and lying on her newspaper. So I didn't look at her.

And I didn't speak nor looked at Dumbledore. Even when he was introducing the audience.

The students of Beauxbatons cheered for Fleur Delacour and the students of Durmstrang cheered for Viktor Krum.

Most of Hogwarts cheered for Cedric. I was secretly cheering on with them.

And finally...

"Three of our champions have now faced their dragons and so each one of them will proceed to the next task. And now, our fourth and final contestant", Dumbledore said.

Harry came into the stadium. The crowd chanted his name.

In the middle of the stadium, there was the golden egg. Harry walked towards the egg, but a dragon landed behind him, shaking the ground.

Everyone gasped. Harry was thrown away from the egg. The dragon growled and looked at Harry. It breathes fire at him.

Harry ran towards the egg. The spiky tail of the dragon landed next to Harry. Everyone screamed and gasped.

As Harry tried to move out of the way, the dragon tail hit him. I winced. That looked painful.

I looked at Dumbledore. He's really not going to stop this, is he?

The dragon breathes fire at Harry. Everyone gasped and screamed.

"Accio Firebolt!" Harry shouted. He ran behind a rock to hide from the dragon, but the dragon found him. The dragon breathes fire at Harry. Harry's broom flew towards him.

I looked away, afraid he wasn't going to make it.

A few seconds later, I heard people cheering. I looked at Harry to see him ride his broom.

Everyone cheered. Harry flew towards the egg. Fire bursts at him before he could grabbed it.

Harry flew higher. The dragon tried to follow Harry. It's chains started to break.

Harry flew close to the stadium box where me and the Professors sat. The dragon broke the roof with it's tale as it followed Harry.

I covered my head to protect myself from the wood.

But now, there was a problem. We couldn't see Harry or the dragon.

The wait seemed like forever. Everyone searched the skies for Harry Potter. Then, we saw Harry on his broom stick, flying towards the stadium.

Everyone cheered. At least he survived the first task. Not bad for a 14 year old boy.
