"What high school do you want to go to Kiyoko?" I asked my older 3 year (in middle school) best friend, as we walked to the bus stop. "I'm not sure yet, I will probably go wherever Daichi wants to go so y'know we can graduate together," Kiyoko replied. I mean that makes sense her and Daichi have been friends since elementary school. "You should probably talk to Daichi about that, I mean you guys graduate soon."
"You do have a point Y/N, I will talk to him about it tomorrow."
"Wait,"
"What are you ok?"
"It just hit me you are-" my vision got blurry tears filled my eyes "graduating soon,"
"Oh Y/N, come here" she pulled me into a hug. It was a familiar feeling, the feeling of, cooking for hours with your family or snuggling under a blanket with you significant other on a rainy day, or in other words it felt like home. She always smelled like freshly picked roses.
"Y/N listen to me ok?"
"ok..." I agree not letting tears fall, I hated it when people saw me cry it made me feel weak and low, so i never cried.
"You still have two years left of middle school, so that means only two years without me, then we will go to high school together and things will be great. Plus it isn't like we are going to stop hanging out once i go to high school." She reassured me.
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"Y/N name one time I wasn't right." she chuckled
"Haha c'mon I don't want to miss the last bus."

For those who are wondering here is the story of how i met Kiyoko and how we grew close.
It was my first day in middle school and of course me being the dumbass I got lost and ended in a third-year class which also happened to be Kiyoko's class. "Hey, are you ok?" a soft voice asked. I looked up only to lock eyes with a gorgeous raven-haired girl who had looked to be at least two years older than I was. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of an icy blue. Every part of her face was perfect and was topped off with a beauty mark just under her lips. "Hello?" she asked crap i must have been staring. Wait, what did she say again?
"Hi, sorry uhm what did you say?" i kinda yelled at her
"Haha, thats alright i was just asking if you were alright?" she repeated
"Oh yea im ok, just kinda lost"
"You must be a first year. Well then let me show you around"
"Thank you so much!"

And after that she asked me to sit with her at lunch and we instantly clicked. Funny how one accident turned into a life long friendship.
