"Oh.." Taehyung nodded as he leaned back. Maybe his face was really close. He then looked at the twins. Who were still talking to Sehun.

Twins.

These two were the children of the Corneels. A Family hailing from Netherlands who owned the petroleum company that the Facci Group was considering to buy. Their presence here should be understandable as Jennie has a meeting with them tomorrow.

"In USD?" the woman's voice echoed. "You want to bet a million in USD?"

"Is that too much?" Sehun said. "Since you cannot afford then- "

"Of course we can afford!" the woman said. "However... this is too much! For an archery contest, it is too much."

"Then don't bet." Sehun sneered. "I'm going home."

Taehyung frowned at Sehun's words. Once again, he leaned towards Jennie. "Why is he acting so arrogant?"

"He has the right to be arrogant." Jennie uttered as she pursed her lips. The possibility that Sehun knew who these people were was very likely. She met Lisa's eyes and for a few seconds, a flash of understanding glinted in their eyes.

This was enough to confirm her previous assumption. Lisa had asked Sehun to dig into this family the moment she mentioned it to him. Slowly, Jennie's lips curled into a smile. The fact that Lisa was protecting her back without even her knowledge was just... heartwarming.

"Sehun is making them mad." Jennie said after a few seconds of silence. "Anger is a very complicated emotion. It tends to change us. Our personality and the way that we think."

"Oh." He nodded. "That woman keeps on looking at us. It is making me uncomfortable."

"Maybe... she just thinks that you are handsome." Jennie teased. "I mean... you look like me." She beamed. "So you are really good looking too." Giggling at her own joke, Jennie nudged Lisa's arms. "Right, husband?"

The latter smiled helplessly. Since becoming pregnant, Jennie had become more mischievous. She had been laughing a lot, her smile seemed carefree and her eyes... her eyes always shone with mischief and gentleness. This made Lisa happy and grateful at the growth that both of them have had since meeting each other again.

He stared at her side profile, his gaze gentle and warm. He immediately wondered if their children would inherit any of their traits. Wouldn't it be fun to have a mini Jennie running around the mansion?

"Alright! Half million then." Sehun's words echoed. "If you can't afford that then... I will go home."

"Mister... this is very illogical." The man said. "I can bet a hundred thousand in USD but not half a million. That is too extravagant for something like this."

"Aigo... you people won't understand. This is my passion." Sehun said. "I play with everything that I have. And I have spent years just practicing my impressive skills. If you think it is not worth half a million then let's stop this conversation right now." He turned his back on them and walked towards Lisa and Jennie's direction, a sly smile plastered on his lips.

Surprisingly, the duo did not stop him. Instead, they started whispering towards each other. Seeing this, Jennie shook her head. It seems that the duo had fallen into Sehun's trap. As expected, before Sehun could reach Jennie and Lisa, the man called out to him.

"We agree." He uttered as he held his phone and dialed a number.

If Jennie's guess was right then he might be calling his bank abroad. This was also the reason why the two were hesitant in agreeing to the bet. After all, withdrawing a large amount of money in a short period of time might alert their father, the owner of the Petroleum company.
