The grin on Jennie's face became even more brilliant. "Bang!" She said before laughing out loud. Seeing Sehun pale as he stared at her, only made Jennie snort. "Not loaded." She uttered before walking back to Lisa.
Sometimes, playing with Sehun was too fun, Jennie could not say no to herself.
"Is she crazy?" Sehun stood next to Lisa. "And you didn't even help me!"
"I unloaded the gun myself." Lisa said. "I thought you were leaving?"
"I am!" Sehun snarled. "I have a flight in two hours. I was here to say goodbye and of course to check if her aim improved." His voice became louder. "No improvement. Ouch!" Lisa suddenly elbowed him.
"You are playing with fire."
Sehun made a face in response. He then turned towards Jennie who was closely examining the target. "Let her practice without pressing the trigger so she will get used to it."
"Hmmm." Lisa nodded. "Wait for me." He said before walking towards Jennie. "Hey..." He kissed her temple. "Don't mind him. You did a good job."
"Of course, I did a good job!" Jennie smiled. She intentionally made her voice louder. "Why don't you let me use him as a target? You know... to see if I can really hit the head?"
"Oi! You are going overboard! Just because you are a woman doesn't mean I will let you talk to me like that!" Sehun chimed in.
"Talk like what?" Folding her arms across her chest, Jennie raised an eyebrow at him.
"You know..." Sehun said. "Like a target!" He said. "You can't talk to me as if I have no emotions, ah! I easily get offended and hurt." He pouted, prompting Jennie to laugh again. She then turned towards her husband. "I think I will go for one more round."
"I will go to the office upstairs. I'm sure the lawyers and that woman are coming." He said. "Irene will accompany you." He leaned down to kiss her lips before he walked out of the range with the smug Sehun in tow.
"President." Irene said next to her. "That Sehun is going overboard. Mocking you like this just because he is a little talented? Hmp! We should show him that you are capable of being the best at everything!"
"Irene..." Jennie smiled. "He is trying to challenge me." Of course, this was not going to work to against Jennie. She knew that her skills were limited. "And... we can't be the best at everything. I can't just wake up tomorrow and become an expert at everything."
"But President," Irene bit her lips. Until now, she could not recover from the fact that Sehun was better than her. She hated that man. "I think you should train very well and show them a miracle." She uttered.
In response, Jennie shook her head. A smile was still on her face. Of course, she would continue to practice. She knew that her aim would improve soon. Of course, not to the point of defeating a man who killed people for a living.
Jennie was not that ambitious. This was not a fantasy world where people just learned skills overnight. She chuckled at her own thoughts. "Of course, I will." She nodded before turning towards the unloaded gun. After wearing a face mask, Jennie loaded the gun before aiming it to the next target.
She might not be an expert at shooting but... she will never hesitate to kill someone to protect the people that she loved. With or without a gun, Jennie was sure she won't have second thoughts in defending herself and her family.
Another Bang reverberated inside the range. It was followed by another, then another until Jennie exhausted all the thirty three rounds inside the magazine. With a smile on her face, Jennie removed the face mask and made sure the gun is now empty with the special bullets that Lisa ordered that will be safe for a pregnant woman like her.
