She'd been worried that she would fail the final exams. And there was no doubt about her unbearable stress not bothering her the whole time. But again, she couldn't relax. So she was now even more stressed about what she would do.

"You want..my help?" Luz said with a skeptical tone. She knew the Blight hated her guts, so why did she out of all people need Luz's help?

"Yes, unfortunately. Don't take this to heart, but your the second most smartest person I know", Amity said with an embarrassing blush covering her face.

Luz stayed quiet, as if she were thinking about the question very deeply. Amity was ready for immediate rejection. That's what she expected.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have as-"

"I suppose I could make time to help you, since your seeming all helpless and shit. Just uh, meet me in the parking lot after school", Luz said nervously, shoving her hands in her pockets and immediately walking away from the awkward unexpected scene.

Amity suddenly let out a large sigh of relief. But she was definitely not expecting to be so weak looking around the snarky Noceda. And she didn't expect Luz not to tease her about her tired appearance.

"Fuckin' weirdo", Amity huffed as she walked to her next class.

. . .

Amity listened to her shoes crushing against the snow on the ground, her hype fixation on the sound was too distracting. Maybe this is why I'm failing..maybe I should stop spacing out and being just so du-

HONK!

Amity jumped and tripped on the slippery snow, thus earning a loud snicker from Luz. A small laugh soon escaped Amity's mouth and she stood up. Luz got out of her car and opened the door for Amity to get in.

"Sorry bout' that, I just couldn't resist y'know?" Luz chuckled in a frantic tone.

Amity punched Luz in the shoulder and groaned.

"Your such a bitch, Noceda, whatever, so, we going to your house?"

"Well, actually I was hoping we could go to yours? Hunter's having some friends over and I don't wanna be forced tp hangout with them."

Amity bit her lip and looked down. My house..me and Luz alone..in my house.

"Yup! Totally fine! Just try not to mess anything up in my house. Us Blights have to have perfect houses", Amity nervously laughed, a bit of blush sneaking to her face.

Luz pulled her car into reverse and smirked at Amity.

"I suppose, but before we go I have to pick up a few things for my house, you mind tagging along??" Luz asked, tilting her head a bit.

"No, I don't mind at all, aha", Amity whispered.

Luz pulled out of the schools parking lot and kept looking over at Amity. This just made Amity more nervous for their time alone. But she soon sighed and calmed herself down, and before they knew it, they pulled into Luz's drive way. However, Amity didn't realize since she wasn't paying attention.

"Amity? You listening?" Luz asked, waving her hand in front of Amity's face.

Amity blushed at Luz using her first name so casually. She knew it was a little thing but it didn't stop her from blushing.

"Are you blushing, Blight?" Luz giggled.

Amity rolled her eyes and opened her door quickly, throwing herself out of the car. I really lowered my standards enough to be in a place like this.. Amity thought to herself. She looked up at the house, it was an tall house with a few cracks on it here and there, following along with a giant old looked to be homemade basket ball hoop.

"Mi casa tu casa", Luz said as she opened the door.

"Didn't you say that we're only going to be here for a few minutes?"

Luz shrugged and invited Amity in and she was immediately hit with the smell of Chinese food and whatever a sad Hot Topic would smell like.

"Follow me, and avoid eye contact with my brother and his team of sad little gamers", Luz smirked, continuing to climb up a flight of stairs.

Amity followed close behind her and looked at the baby pictures of Luz and her little sister on the walls leading up to her room. She snickered at one with Luz covered in green and purple marker, along with Hunter standing behind her with a pair of the same colored markers. Amity suddenly ran into Luz's back and groaned.

"What do you want, Hunter?" Luz huffed.

"Can you run to the store for me? I need more red-bull, maybe a few monsters", Hunter snarkily said.

Luz grabbed Amity's wrist and continued up the stairs. Hunter flashed a smirk at Amity as they pasted each other, as if he knew Amity's intentions. They were lead up to to Luz's room and Amity stared with a mix of awe and on a verge of laughter.

"I love your room.." Amity accidentally blurted.

Luz ran into the corner of her room and grabbed a medium duffle bag, along with a handful of cash in her fist.

"Sooo, snacks? You have to admit we are going to get bored eventually", Luz smiled.

Amity slightly blushed at the girls starstruck Noceda. They walked out of the room and Luz put her arm around Amity's shoulder.

"Act casual, we gotta walk past the alpha gamer den", Luz smirked.

Amity pulled her phone out and looked through her Instagram. And so did Luz. Don't look at her, don't look at her, shit shit shit! Amity's face was still burning with heat. But soon they exited the house without any bother from the sad boy coven.

. . .

As they arrived at the house the were face to face with Edric. He looked like he was going to a frat party from the 80's. Amity laughed at her fashion disaster of a brother.

"Enough about me, looks like you've turned out like a social little butterfly now", he smirked at Amity and Luz.

Amity grunted and pushed him out of the way, dragging Luz in the house. Edric giggled and followed the two girls.

"C'mon Luz~, me and Em are gonna be going to the library, don't cha wanna come along?" The middle Blight grinned.

Luz was about to give in but out of spite she declined, maybe a night with Amity wouldn't be so bad?

"Come on Noceda, your supposed to be teaching me now", Amity smirked to herself.

Luz ran up to Amity and ruffled the girls hair.

"I'm sure this is gonna be a great night, huh?"

"We'll see."
