Tim Pivarnik Is An Experienced Educational Leader With Excellent Qualities

Tim Pivarnik is a highly qualified educational leader with command presence over wide number of academic areas. Currently, he is serving a prestigious position at Gary Middle College since January, 2013. He is not just a principal but also a leader who is always striving for excellence in education. He is an experienced instructional leader whose accountability is to work with teachers to identify and classify different educational objectives and set school-wide or district wide goals. He’s a demanding individual who gets results out of his staff and students. 

In addition to this, Tim Pivarnik provides the essential resources for learning, and generate new learning opportunities for students and staff. He emphasizes the core skills that includes comprehensive planning and implementation, curriculum theory and design. He is not only limited towards providing the best education in the region, but also endeavors to promote the values, knowledge, and skills needed to renew and improve education across the state and region. He exhibits a clear sense of direction for his school and prioritize attention on the things that really matter in terms of the work of students. 

Tim Pivarnik uses a team based learning that helps him to identify his leadership strengths and gain knowledge of strategies that engage students in the classroom and for other extra curricular activities. He expresses strategies for facilitating employees by competently and managing all the issues. He also implements and facilitate collaborative professional development activities including student learning activities. He inspires passion and interest among students and in his staff and creating a sincere interest in meeting with daily challenges in order to eventually build a successful organization. 

Though, Tim believes that it is very important to comprehend the role of a instructional leader that differs from the traditional school administrator to make the students careers bright and successful. His career profile is enriched with his qualitative and quantitative professional experience which adds authenticity to his services. Till now, wherever he worked he brought many appreciable transformations regarding education system. Tim Pivarnik has done B.S. and M.S. Secondary Education from Indiana University Northwest, Gary. Presently, he is attending classes at Indiana Wesleyan University for his EdS degree and school superintendent’s license. He also has a certification of Indiana Teacher’s license and Building Level K–12 Administrator License. He also remains active in Porter Masonic Lodge #137 where he serves on the Board of Trustees. 

Elaborating about Tim Pivarnik's personal life, his wife, Tammy owns and operates her own court reporting business called Tammy Pivarnik Professional Court Reporting. He has two daughters named Cara and Tara. Cara is married and is a 5th generation educator in his family. He has two grandsons Alan and Adam. His other daughter Tara is entering her 2nd year of law school at Valparaiso University. He likes to travel with his wife and spends his leisure time with his family.
