Dino-Mighty Isekai

Prologue

In a bright Roman like temple, there sat five beings, four of which sat on a long bench together as a group. And the fifth simply floating in front of them as they were talking.

The first was a woman with almost Caucasian, almost Porcelain like skin, shimmering orange hair, green colored eyes and was tall. As in, if she was to stand straight up she would be nine feet tall, she also wore a loose fitting white toga, would it also be shallow to mention that she was a figure of immeasurable beauty? She also gave off an aura that portrayed a woman of immense power and skill, as well as a gentle, kind and motherly soul.

The next being looked to be an old man with a long white beard that reached down to his abdominal, wore a grey cloak, and was holding a fairly long staff. If his appearance was an indicator, his age suggests he's well into his seventies, but he has an aura that portrays a person who has lived a long life and has experienced a great deal in his life, nearly millions of years of life.

The fourth being seemed to be female also, this one being a young girl who looked to be around twelve years old. She had short purple hair, dark colored skin, glowing pink eyes, and she had horns, a tail and wings. As to her attire, she seemed to be wearing a dress suitable for a demon. While she looks young, just like the old man, she gave off an aura which said that she was very old.

The fourth individual was a humanoid beast like creature, male, he had the body of a dragon with mammalian hair, bird like feathers, and fins on various points of his body. He wore strong armor made of metal and has a very unique aura. Despite his ferocious appearance, his aura gave off a feeling that he was a gentle compassionate soul and was very intelligent.

And the final individual, they were mainly an orb of orange colored glowing energy. Yeah this is me, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Vince Himura, I am, or rather was, your average 20 something year old man. Working at a local museum as a paleontologist, a profession that I enjoy for the most part due to my love for dinosaurs, even had a lucky necklace with an irradiated piece of amber from the Mesozoic era. My duties normally entailed looking over documents of new discoveries we made, inspecting and researching the various fossils the museum had, or just informing any of the visitors about the extinct animals. That was my life, day in and day out, of course I do have hobbies such as singing, art and reading, as well as writing stories. At most my quiet and relatively boring life was okay, I was healthy, smart, relatively fit and satisfied with what I do.

Then it all changed when the museum curator assigned me to supervise a new dig site we had down in Utah. During the dig our team was excavating a dinosaur skeleton between two large cliffs, this was very concerning and I advised everyone to take extreme caution. Then unexpectedly a sudden tremor had created a landslide, thankfully everyone got out of the incident unscathed. Everyone except for me that is, I had pushed some incapacitated crew members out to safety before getting repeatedly pummeled and crushed by the incoming earth and rocks.

Then was transported to the hospital shortly after, my colleagues joining wanting to make sure I made it, and afterward died shortly after. Which is what lead me here, "oh my, such a sad story, and you died at such a young age too" the woman said, "yes well, what happened happened, at least I can say I used my last minutes of life to save others" I said to the four. "Indeed, that was a very brave and noble thing you had done young man" the elder said with the beast man nodding.

"Thanks, so is this the part where I head up or down?" I asked, waiting to join great grandpa and grandma, "why certainly not" the girl said surprising me. "What do you mean?" I asked again, the beast man then spoke in a deep, regal but gentle voice. "Since you had died too early, we all have decided to reward your noble act by giving you a second chance at life" he explained. This shocked me, I mean, I-I was gonna have a chance to live again?!

"A-are you serious?!" I asked, both shocked and kinda excited, "yes, though granted it won't be in your own world" the woman explained. "You see, we will allow you to reincarnate in our world, which happens to be what your people call a fantasy world. Filled with monsters, magic, dragons, the whole shebang" the demon girl explained.

The woman then picked her up and seated her on her lap, "as Leila explained, you will be brought to our world where you can have a long and happy life. Filled with both comfort and excitement around every corner" she explained, "H-Hey?! Maya! Put me back!" The demon, Leila, said as she struggled to get out of the woman, Maya's, arms. "W-wow, thank you!" I said as my soul's aura grew more, "yes, though before you get reborn, we would likely ask for you have any requests for your new life" the old man said. They all nodded, "well... maybe, can I have a kind of natural power of dinosaurs? Since I was a paleontologist in my old life, and the fact I love dinosaurs, I think it would be a good match for me" I said.

"Certainly, if you want we can give you the power to transform into dinosaurs" he said again further increasing my excitement. We then discussed more about my new life, they also told me that they were deities in their world, to be clear they were not gods or devils. Apparently they find it an insult to be referred to as such, the old man, who's name was Garb, then helped me work out some more details about my new life. Little to say I have a new name, Draka Sauron, as for my race, I'm going to be a type of being called a Dragonborn, a person or creature born from a dragon lineage. Actually the Beastman, whose name was Arldarn, is actually a dragon himself, so that kinda means we're gonna be related. In addition I'm also going to have three unique skills, one skill is Appraisal which will allow me to acquire information about anything, from people, creatures and objects. The next skill is called Sage of knowledge, this skill's main purpose is to educate and inform me about this world. It should also be noted that both skills are sentient so they'll pop up when I need it, in the case of appraisal it'll pop up when I use it. Hmm I wonder if there's another person who was reincarnated, and if they were do they also have a sentient skill like this.

In another world further away, a blue haired young human suddenly sneezed before becoming a smaller blob like form, then had turned back.

Anyways the third and final skill is Deities Dial, in the event I want to talk with the four deities again I can use this skill to do so.

After we finished they added an extra tidbit "Not only that but for our brand of reincarnation, you get increased life" Leila said, "huh? What do you mean by increased life?"

"What Leila means is, we can increase your life span beyond that of a normal person" The beast man spoke, "wow, that's pretty amazing. Wait what does it depend on?" I asked, I've been in some pretty sketchy situations before so I like to know what I'm getting into. "Well first the amount of life you've been alive in your old life, then multiply it by the length of time you've been dead" Maya explained, "oh so, since I was 21 when I died, and it's been three days since I died, that means I'll have an extra 63 years of life" I said, trying to do the math in my head. Have to since I don't have any fingers to count for a more accurate  estimate, or a pencil and paper to actually do the math.

"Yes that's basically it, however you are a special case" the demon girl said, confusing me ever so, "you see, that Amber you had on your person when you died held the essence of life for all species in the Mesozoic era, and when you died their life force merged with yours. Since the creatures from that time period have been extinct for about 65,000,000 years, multiply that to your age. Your life span has been significantly extended to around 1,365,000,000 years"

I was shocked 'I'm gonna be alive for 1,365, million years?!?!?!?! I might as well just be immortal!' I thought, "yes well, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure in that time you can amass a great deal of friends and family to spend time with" She said again giggling, looking at me with a sly glint. 'I'm really not liking the look in her eye' I thought shivering at her gaze.

"Now then, aside from your dinosaur powers, is there anything else you may like before we send you off?" The beastman asked, "honestly, I'm pretty content with what you've given me, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving this second chance at life" I said as I felt myself being ascended to another world. "You're welcome, have a nice life!" They all said.

And with that, my new life has started, in another world with Prehistoric Power!
