After the 30-minute "bathroom break" that both you and Saebyeok had taken, you both silently walked your way to your beds. The event blinds your other thoughts the moment you try thinking of something else to get your mind off of her. It's not that you didn't love it, hell, you fucking loved it. But, it felt wrong to keep thinking of her in such a vulnerable state, clenching at your shoulders and pressing herself against you.
Even though you made sure you didn't hurt her and asked if she was okay a million times, you couldn't help but worry about her. You give her a once over and see that she was deep in thought, just as you were. Doleful eyes look back at you, taking your breath away for a moment. Her lips part to say something, making your eyes visibly light up.
I'd hate to make her feel like she wasn't actually important to me. We met a little bit ago but, I just can't help myself when you look at me like that.
"Stop staring at me like that" if it were possible, her cheeks would flush an even darker scarlet color. She leans into the arm that your wrap around her shoulder. The two of you walk your way to your bed, the both of you probably thinking the same thing, not wanting to be alone right now. You fall back on your bed and Saebyeok sits next to you quietly. She eyes your starfish form, wanting a piece of your mind. Saebyeok's facade wasn't an easy thing to see through, but it was easy for you to understand. You took the time that you spent with her and realized that she was more physically expressive rather than verbally.
Great, now I'm gonna feen for her.
The rough sheets ruffle as the stone-faced woman crawls next to your from. She lies her head on her hands next to your head and settles onto her stomach. Her dramatic huff knocks you out of your thoughts, so you tear your eyes away from the darkness of the room. You were so at ease that it even confused you. No nervousness, no second-guessing if you treated her well enough, and no lingering thoughts of her possibly leaving you. Maybe it was your circumstance that could be blinding the hidden insecurities. If it was, so be it, there's no time for worry and regret when you could die any minute.
Quietly, you say "I'm sorry I can't give you the proper care afterward..." your voice dies in your throat as a feeling of embarrassment washes over you. Saebyeok rubs her cheek against her shoulder before she turns her head away from you. She's just shy, you remind yourself. Saebyeok is not for the weak. You giggle and turn to the shadow that catches your eye. It's the middle-aged woman that you avoided an hour ago. She began to bang on the door and yell, having no regard for anyone trying to get some rest before the next game. If you had to guess, you'd say it could be around 10 or 9 PM at least.
Saebyeoks hand brushes your ribcage when she sits up to see the commotion. You smirk at the faint bruise on her neck. You wondered when the other hickeys would present themselves, including the nonvisible ones.
"Damn it, you scumbags" she kicked the door. Just watching her yell is exhausting. It's like that lady completely transformed personalities since the last time everyone came. The first one to beg on their knees is also the loudest in the room. It was surprising really. "I wonder if she even had a kid.." you mumble and sit up, matching Saebyeoks posture.
