"씹할" you scoff, following Saebyeok into the colorful room that resembles a playground. Apparently, four-eyes had no clue of what this game could involve despite the drained expression that he wore now.
"He knows something," you seethe, grabbing Sae's hand. Unknown to you, her cheeks flush at the feeling of your calloused fingers lacing into hers. Small moments like this made her scared. Scared that the end will be the exact reality she had created in her head.
Saebyeoks eyebrows momentarily pinch whilst she scrutinized the man who used to have the lenses before sighing, confused with the zoned-out look on his face. Sure, everyone standing in this room was traumatized but they were also very prepared for whatever the end of this game could be... but his face seemed to display everything but preparation.
Next to her, you bristle at her silence, leaning your head from behind hers to also look at the man. She licks her lips and shakes her head "Who knows what that asshole has planned... Just stay away from him"
Owlishly, you blink at the back of her head until she's pulling you closer to the walls of the playground.
"Hm... same for you babe"
She glances at you before taking her hand from yours and leaning on the wall, suddenly deep in thought.
PA WOMAN: "PLAYERS, BEFORE THE SECOND GAME BEGINS, CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOUR AVAILABLE SHAPES YOU SEE ON THE WALL"
The announcement of course takes Saebyeok from her brainstorming just as you make a small sound of confusion.
"ONCE YOU'VE CHOSEN YOUR SHAPE, PLEASE STAND IN FRONT OF IT"
And for now, that was the end of the announcement. "Hm..." you tilt your head, subtly watching the other participants slowly snail their way into lines of the few shapes pasted on the wall.
