Tori's Injured Beauty

(At the room)

The Doctor enters Jade's room with Tori behind him. He set up a chair for her to sit on Jade's left side while her monitor is on the right side of her bed. "Ms. West will be alright. As long as she doesn't move her head, she'll be able to heal." The doctor informed Tori. "Excuse me, Doctor, but did you call her Ms. West?" Tori asked hoping she heard him wrong. "Well, when we pulled out her file, it turned out she is not named Ember Steele but Jade West. Do not worry, Ms. Vega. Her secret is safe within this building." The doctor replied back. Tori felt so relieved. "Thank you again." She thanked him and shook his hand and he left them alone. Tori then took her seat and took Jade's hand while watching her sleep. She can sense that Jade is now relaxed and happy that Tori is there. "Just rest, Jade. I'm here and I am not leaving you." Tori assured Jade. She then sees Jade smile in her sleep. She then felt her phone vibrate again so she used her free hand to pull it out and see that both Andre and Beck respond to the group text.

Beck: I was watching it on the TV and saw what happened to Jade. I hope she is okay. But I know she is in good hands. She's very fortunate to have such a caring girlfriend. Take care of her, Tori.

She then read Andre's text.

Andre: Oh, man! That's horrible. I'll keep her in my thoughts. We'll see her once she can come home.

She sends both of them a thank you and put her phone away and resume watching her girlfriend sleeping. Jade slowly wakes up and feels a hand holding hers and already know that feeling. "Tori?" She spoke weakly. Tori then got up and sat at the edge of the bed so Jade doesn't have to move her head. "Hi, babe." Tori greeted and kisses Jade's fingers. "What happened?" The goth asked. "The doctor did an MRI on you and found out that you have a minor cervical fracture on the top section of the neck. It explains the reason you can barely move your head. The good news is, you won't have any surgery done but in result, you'll have to wear a brace for 6 to 8 weeks." Tori explains. She then sees Jade starting to cry. "Baby, what's wrong?" Tori asked her crying girlfriend. "I failed you." Jade said while crying. "What do you mean?" The latina spoke. Even though Jade can't move her head, she looked up through her eyes at her Victoria. "I failed you in that fight. I was fighting for you honor because that bitch said that you would leave me for a real woman like her and it scared me that I had to keep fighting and fighting to prove that I am worthy of you and I was truly afraid that if I loss, you would dump me and leave me." She explains while still crying. Tori can see the pain in both her neck and in Jade's eyes. She truly is afraid that she would leave her girlfriend. Tori kissed Jade's fingers again with all of her love and starts tearing up. "Jade, please listen to me. I love you ever since I first came to Hollywood Arts. I always have loved you and will continue to love you until we're both dead. I'm never leaving you because I only care about one woman in my life and she is right here on this bed who I am holding her hand. You're not a failure, Jade West. You're a winner in my book." Tori soothes her girl while kissing her fingers. Jade simply smiled at her beauty. Tori then rest her hand down. "Please don't leave me, Tori." Jade begged her. "Not in a million years, Jade." Tori assured her. "Just rest and I will be here when you wake up." She added and Jade simply just closed her eyes and sleep

All Tori did is watch and gently stroke her girl's hair. 'Oh, Jade. My beautiful Jade. It breaks my heart to see you like this. I never should have retired. I should have been in that ring and be on this bed with a broken neck than see you like this.' Tori said in her thoughts. A tear has shed our of her eyes. 'You are too perfect to be injured. It's me who should be injured. I love you so much.' She thought. She then quietly cried so she doesn't wake Jade up and she repeating leaving soft kisses on her hand. 'I promise, I will find a way to avenge you and the injury you are in.' She thought once more but she was snapped out of it from the sight of her parents walking in. "How is Jade?" Holly asked her daughter. "She is suffering a minor cervical fracture. Only her C1 and C2 were fracture. Good news is, she won't need surgery for that but the price is that she will have to wear this brace for 6 to 8 weeks so the bones can heal." Tori tells them. "Well, we did notify her parents of the situation and they have agreed since they're always on call or even on business trips, Jade will be staying with us until she is healed. We can't have her home alone in pain with no one else to help her out." David tells his daughter. "Thank you. I want to help her as much as I can." Tori thanked her parents. "We know, Tori. That's why we did that and her Dad knows how much his daughter loves you so he basically gave his permission to let us take care of Jade." Holly informed Tori and that put a teary smile on her face while looking at her girlfriend. "I'll go ask the doctor when she can go." David said and left leaving his wife and daughter. Tori the sat down and took Jade's hand.

"Well, at least it is not very serious." Holly said. "I do agree, Mom. But, I said to myself that she shouldn't be in this position. It's me who should be there and her here where I am sitting." Tori admitted to her Mom. Holly knew that there was no way to convince her daughter otherwise, so she just stood behind Tori and comfort her. "I understand, honey. But also look at it this way. If you were in her place and Jade was in yours, she would have the same idea as you do because she loves you and she rather be hurt than see her Tori Vega injured and feeling like she has failed both me and your Dad for not protecting you. And I would tell her that you didn't fail in that. You learn from your failures so you can succeed in the end." Holly said. Tori then looked up to her Mom and smiled. "You're right, Mom. Thank you." Tori thanked and stayed with her girl. "I'm gonna go find your father. I'll be right back." Her mom said and left the room. Tori just kept looking at her injured beauty and just reminded that it can happen to anyone and that Jade would be like her if they did switched places. "I promise, I will do everything in me to take care of you, babe. I love you so much." Tori said and place a soft kiss on Jade's fingers. She knows they have a long way to go but it will be worth it in the end.
