Jade Comes Home

(The next day)

(At Tori's Home)

At the entrance of the Vega's home, Tori is helping Jade in while her parents are behind them in case Jade loses her balence and they can catch her. Jade notices that the living room is redesigned with a chair in the middle of the area. "What's with the chair?" She asked them. "We called in a reclining chair for you so you can rest and able to watch TV and we can be around if you need us." Holly explained. "Thank you, Mrs. Vega." Jade thanked and she slowly sat down on the new chair. Tori then grabbed a pillow for Jade to rest her head. She has it below's Jade's head and she eases Jade to come down slowly so she doesn't wince and moan in pain. She then felt a remote. "That let's you move your chair backwards or forwards so you can lie back and take a nap or need to get up." Tori explained. Jade pressed the backwards button and she feels the chair slowly moving back and her feet rising up. She gets it right and just relax. "Tori, could you please untie my shoes for me?" Jade asked her girlfriend. "Of course." Tori replied and got down and remove each shoe. Holly sets up a side table on the right side of the chair and place a cup of water with a straw in it. "Thank you, Mrs. Vega." Jade thanked. "You're welcome, Jade. Is there anything else I can get you?" Holly replied to her daughter's girlfriend. "No, thank you." Jade simply answered. "Okay. Well, Mr. Vega and I have to do some errands and we'll be back. Tori, you're in charge of taking care of her." Holly tells the girls. "I'm not leaving her side, Mom." Tori assured her mother. "I know, honey. I just had to say that so I don't sound like a bad mother and guardian." Holly explained. Jade smiled since she can't move her head. "I truly can't thank you and Mr. Vega enough, Mrs. Vega. You two are very kind and caring. Tori is very lucky to have such wonderful parents." Jade complimented. That made Holly blushed. "That is so sweet, Jade. Thank you." Holly thanked and head out. "I wasn't kidding, Tori. You're truly lucky to have such wonderful and caring parents." She said to her girlfriend. "I am very lucky to have them but I'm more lucky that you are also part of my life." Tori said to Jade and holding her hand.

They hear footsteps coming down and Tori sees Trina is coming down. "Hey, girls. How's Jade?" Trina asked concerning. "Still hurting so we set her up here to rest and that way it is easier for her to get up and down." Tori answered. "Jade, can I get you anything?" Trina offered. "No, thank you, Trina. I got my water and...Tori where are my pain medication?" Jade replied. Tori then got up and went to a bag that has a drug store logo on it and pull out Jade's pain killers and set them next to her water. "Right here, Jade. The pharmacist did say that they will make you sleepy so if that is true, please do sleep. I'll sit on the side and be there in case you need anything." Tori tells her girlfriend. "Trina, in case I am not around, Jade takes one of each bottles every 6 hours so we're gonna start them at 12:00 pm today and she won't have another one till 6:00 pm. It's suppose help her with the pain." Tori explained to her older sister. "Got it. But does she need a refill with them if she is out?" Trina asked. "I did asked the doctor that and he said no. It's a one time thing so she takes them till they're all gone and all she still has to do is rest." Tori answered. She then felt Jade's hand hold hers tight. "It's okay, Jade. I'm gonna help you get better." Tori assured Jade. "I believe you, babe. I'm just glad you're here taking care of me." Jade simply replied. They hear a knock at the door. "Come in, it's open!" Tori called out.

The door opens and she sees Beck and Andre enter. "Hey, girls." Andre greeted. "Hey, guys." Tori greeted. "How's Jade?" Beck asked her. "Like I just got a fracture at the back of my neck." Jade tried to joke but failed. "I know it was a bad question. I'm sorry." Beck apologized. "It's okay, Beck. I do appreciate the concerned about me." Jade thanked her ex-boyfriend. He smiled and sat down. "So, how long did the doctor say you have to wear that?" Andre asked. "6 to 8 weeks." Jade reminded him. "So you're out for the CFC?" Beck asked. "She is definitely out. I'm not going to have her get more injured after this suffering." Tori answered for Jade. "All she is going to do is rest and she's only allowed to go to school and back home. Nothing else. If she wants, we'll bring home food for her if she wants take-out." Tori added. Both boys snickered in Tori's tone of voice. "What?" She asked the snickering boys. "Nothing. You just talked like she is her mother." Back joked. "Oh her wife." Andre added. That made both girls blushed. "So is Jade able to go to H.A.?" Andre asked Tori. "Doctor said she can if she think she can otherwise she'll be here resting. If it does come down to it, I'll ask Helen if we can set up someway for Jade to still be in class while staying home." Tori tells Andre. "Tori, I do appreciate it, but I do plan to go to school even if I am in serious pain, I'm still going." Jade spoke to Tori. "Babe, don't push too hard on it. You just need to rest and not move your head as much." Tori assured Jade. She then felt Jade takes her hand and grasp it. "Victoria, listen to me." Jade said. Tori knows it is serious when Jade uses her full name. "I really do appreciate it. I really do but if I'm being seriously honest, my best days are with you when we are at school or at your home or anywhere because you make me feel happy, smiling and also love. That's the main reason I go every day so I can see you from the first bell to when we all head out home after school." Jade explained. Tori starts to get teary eye and kneels to Jade's right side, takes her hand and kiss it. "I love you so much, Jade." Tori thanked her. "And I love you too, Tori." Jade replied and the guys stood back smiling seeing their friends be so in love.
