As Tom and I started to hang out again, I started to tell him what it really was like at my house. He understood why I liked to come over to his house more than my own. One day when I came home from Tom's house I saw my dad having dinner with a lady I've never met. "Who is this dad." "Hey Nick, can you come in I've been needing to talk to you." "What's this about?" " I would like to introduce to you my girlfriend, we have been talking for about a month. She has been helping me with some anger I've had built up inside of me over the years since your mom has been away & left us." "Hello, Nick I've heard a lot about you, my name is Shannon." " Hello, it's nice to meet you I can't stay long only came home to get some things to stay over at Tom's house." " Okay that's fine we will have to get together sometime soon alright?" " yeah, sure." 

As I head upstairs my phone starts to ring and I realise it's Tom 

"You ready nick?" Yeah, sorry I'll be down in a minute my dad has a girlfriend she was here when I got here." "Wow really? what does she look like." "Um well, her name is Shannon, she's tall and has long red hair." " Wait a minute, are you sure?" "Yes, why?" "Because that sounds like the babysitter I had one time see if you can get a picture of them both together." "Alright, I'm confused why you are acting like this, about her." "She's bad news Nick." "Ok, I'll meet you in the car." "bye, Nick and be careful" "Hey dad one last thing before I go do you guys mind if I get a picture of both of you? it's not every day I see my dad this happy." "Sure Nick anything." "Thanks! say cheese" "cheese! both Shannon and Nick's dad say at the same time." "Thanks, guys, I'll catch you later" " Bye nick stay safe," said Shannon and nick's dad. "Did you get it Nick " "Yeah, here" " Oh no this can't be happening again." "What is it?" " This woman Shannon has tried to kill me when I was a child and my parents as well, we need to stop her first let's head over to my house to see what we can do." Alright, you think he is safe with her there though." For the time being, she doesn't suspect anything so we are good. "As they get to Tom's house they go look for Tom's parent's. "Hey mom, dad we have some very bad news." "What is it honey"? "Nick's dad is dating Shannon." You're kidding said Tom's parent's simultaneously. "No, what do we do?" "We will call the mental ward and head over there." "Alright, we will meet you guys outside his house." As Tom and Nick arrive outside the house they hear Nick's dad yelling in pain. Instinctively Nick gets out of the car and runs to the door and Nick finds his father tied up passed out bleeding to death....
