Kiss Of Betrayal

Chapter 1

"Emilico!" Says a guy with a white lab coat on.

"Yes, doctor Sean?" I smile while standing up to greet Doctor Sean. Sean smiles at me.

"Here's the paperwork for the blood drive for Westwood High Academy." He hands me the paperwork.

"Thanks, Doctor Sean," I say as I get around to go to Westwood High Academy. I start to walk towards the garage with my keys just as I turn the corner someone bumps into me making me double back against the wall.

"You hit her!" A nurse snaps.

"Hm?" I look up to see nurse Kylie, nurse Lily, and nurse Emily. Nurse Emily is on the floor holding her ankle while she gives me an ugly glare.

"Apologize to Emily!" Kylie demands.

"I- what?" I question looking at all three girls. Lily snickers and stomps her foot on the ground before yelling.

"You ran right into Emily; now apologize." She yells. Before I can Doctor Sean comes down the hall and comes to my side with papers.

"Emilico you left the blood drive paperwork on your desk." He smiles before giving me the paperwork and looking at the nurses in front of me.

"Ah nurse Emily, nurse Kylie, and nurse Lily; how are you lady's." The lady's huff and walk off.

"Thanks, Doctor Sean." I smile and walk off to the garage. As I walk to my car I see a little girl in the garage alone. I walk towards the girl. "Hungry?" I ask the girl looks up and nods I hand her a pouch and walk away to my car.

~At Westwood High Academy~

"Kaeden" Mr. Hinson exclaims. Kaeden looks up at Mr. Hinson.

"Yes Mr. Hinson," Kaeden says.

"The office needs you." Mr. Hinson says. Kaeden gets up and walks out of the classroom. He pulls out his phone and pressed play on his phone and then starts walking. As he turns the corner he bumps into someone.

"Oh, dear are you okay" I bend down to see if the student needs help. He lifts his head to show a gash with blood dripping from it.

BLOOD!

A sweet but iron taste. Now you might be wondering; oh then they're a vampire or demon. Well, you're dead wrong... and this is why...

"Ouch." He touches his head.

"No! Don't touch it you're gonna get blood on your hand." I touch his arm pulling it away from his wound. I start by cleaning the gash and applying pressure after I get it to stop bleeding. I then bandaged his head with gauze and bandage wrap. He looks at me.

"Kimmy!?" He clears his throat. I look around and see that it's just us. (he thinks I'm Kimmy. How hard did he hit his head?!?!?). I finish cleaning him up when the bell rings. I get up and look back to only see a crowd of people and the male student has gone. I sigh and head to the office. I walk in and head to the restroom as I pass by the desk. I see him again!?! I hurry up and go into the bathroom to find out I have blood on my hand.

"BLOOD!?!" (how did I get blood on me? I was very careful?!) I uncontrollably start licking my fingers. I look up in the mirror to see my eyes flare red and my teeth sharpen while my skin goes pale. "MORE!?!" I moan. My body tingles with each lick. Heat pulse through my veins. (now this is exciting!) I snap myself back into reality. (I can't do this now I'm not like those betrayers) I start to wash my hands and face. Until my original features return. I step toward the door and turn the handle and walk out into the main office. I catch a glimpse of the male student again and my eyes widen with excitement. But I pinch myself to try and focus on the blood drive setup.

"Miss Summers." Says one of the office ladies. I turn my head in her direction.

"Yes, Mrs. Karl." I smile.

"Kaeden is here for the blood drive. Can you take him there?" She smiles. My heartbeat races.

"O-of course I can." My blood runs cold as I walk up to Kaeden. I lead him out of the office and down the hall where he stops me.

"I need to say a few things; thanks about earlier and apologize for calling you, Kami. I'm sorry." He sputters. I smile.

"Its no big deal Kaeden." I say reassuring him that I wasn't upset or angry about it. He sighs and relaxes. We continue to walk down towards the gym where the blood drive is held. We enter the gym and I go directly to my station and prep it for Kaeden. "Sit here." I pat at the chair. He sits and then pulls up his sleeve. I start swabbing his arm after that I grab the needle and tape. "Ready Kaeden?" I ask before poking his arm with a needle.

"Yes." He exhales. Before poking him I hold his hand to comfort him. He relaxes and I poke the needle in and start the blood extraction from him. After a few seconds, Kaeden passes out.

"Shit! I need help now!" I yell across the gym. A few nearby nurses come by and help with Kaeden. I stop the blood extraction and bandage the wound with gauze and Band-Aids. I pull a chair up and sit beside him to make sure he's good when he wakes up. An hour passes and Kaeden starts to gain consciousness. He shoots up and looks around quickly. "Hey be careful no need for quick movements you passed out," I say trying to get him to lay down again. He jerks his head towards me.

"..." He mumbles something and lunges at me kissing my lips. My eyes widened with shock. (No, this can't be happening. I- I have to stop this now.) I pull back trying to break away but Kaeden pulls me close while getting off the stretcher. He then finally breaks the kiss.

"Kim-." Tears fill my eyes as he comes back to reality. His eyes widened knowing what he has just done. I take this moment to run away hiding my tearful face. I ran down the hall and around the corner. I bump into a few of the nurses.

"Sorry I- um.." I ran out of the front doors to my car. I open the driver's side and get in.
