Kiss Of Betrayal

Chapter 2

I drive into my grandparent's driveway to find my grandparents waiting outside for me. I step out of my car.

"WHAT HAPPEN!" Grandma yells. I look up at her. Grandpa and Grandma show their wrists. Three thick lines are on both of my grandparents. My eyes widened. (No this can't be, no!). I look down at my hands. On my right hand, a small heart appears.

"NO!" I cry. "I'm a betrayer! a-aa a monster!" I cry some more. I whimper softly as my grandparents comfort me.

"Tell me what has happened. Grandma says as she leads me inside. As we get inside Grandpa closes and locks the door. Grandma sits me down at the table. I watch as my grandparents close all the windows and the blinds and lockdown that house. After finishing locking everything I tell them what happened.

"What! That kid doesn't know what he just got into. He's in danger." Grandpa boasts. My Grandma touches Grandpa's arm and calms him down.

"Kid doesn't know what he has done dear." Grandma calmly says. Grandpa grumbles under his breath. "We need to get this kid here so we can undo what has been done by this kid," Grandma exclaims to me.

"Understand Grandma." I nod and get up and stretch.

"Of course we have to wait until tomorrow, it's getting quite late now and the kid is at home," Grandma says. I let out a sigh and nod in agreement.

"I'm gonna hit the hay, Love you both." I kiss both of their heads and head to my room. As I enter my room I close the door. I turn on some mediation sound. I sit down on my yoga mat and take a deep breath. As I focus on the speaker I relax all my muscles and let my thoughts flow. I ease my mind and just breathe in and out. After a few moments, I pass out.

As I wake up I look around to find myself in my bed. I very confusedly get up and undress. I pull down my white tank top and brush off my tank top. As well as pull up my shorts and button them up. I look in the mirror and pull my hair up in a ponytail. I take one last look and cast a appearance spell before opening my door and head to the kitchen. I grab an apple.

"I'm off," I yell. As I exit the house. I walk to my car and get in. I drive to Westwood High Academy.

As I pull up to the school I quickly park my car and get out. As I walk towards the entrance I feel people's eyes on me. I enter the building and walk towards the office. When I entered the office.

"Hello, can anyone tell me what class I'm in?" I smile and curtsy to them. 

"Ah, yes Emma you're in Mr. Hinson's class." Says a lady at the front desk. I thank her and then leave. I walk out and walk the hallways and enter Mr. Hinson's classroom.

"Ah Emma welcome, everyone stop what you're doing, and listen we have a new student." Everyone stops their work and looks up at me.

"Hi, I'm Emma." I lower my head slightly. as I raise my head I see Kaeden. We made eye contact for a brief moment until the teacher spoke.

"You can sit by Kaeden." Mr. Hinson says as I nod and go and take my seat.

"Hey, I'm Kaeden." He says as I sit down in my chair.

"Emma but you can Emy." I smile as I get out a notebook to take notes in.

"Okay everyone gets a partner and starts working." Says Mr. Hinson. As I stand up to find a swarm of people surrounding me. But then I feel someone pulling me back. I look up to see Kaeden holding me close to his chest.

"Everyone chill she's a new student and you're frightening her." He scolds. I start to get flusters not wanting everyone to see my face I turn around and put my face in his chest. I grab onto his shirt afraid of people seeing my face. Kaeden puts one hand on my back to try and calm me. "You okay." He whispers. I look up at him. His face softens as he places his left hand on my forehead.

"Mr. Hinson Emma needs to go to the office she has a fever." Mr. Hinson nods in response. Kaeden picks me up bridal style and walks out of the classroom. As he carries me my heartbeat races. "You okay, you're face is red." He says he turns the corner and into the office. I look away just as a tall girl approaches us.
