Natasha grunted as her back made contact with the padded mats on the floor of the training room of the helicarrier. "Someone's extra fiesty today"Natasha said,Kas only sent the younger red room assassin a sharp look and the began to unwrap her fist. Natasha rolled back onto her hands and then threw herself back to her feet "What's the prob-lem"Natasha asked "Captain America is my father"Kas said. She tossed Natasha bottle of powerade "What"Natasha said "Yeah"Kas said, she gave a fake grin,it dropped as she rolled her mismatched eyes.

"Hey"Natasha said as she caught Kassie's arm "I'm not in the mood to talk Nat"Kas said "I want to get Clint back and take care of Loki,then we can deal with the whole father america thing"Kassie said. "Okay" Natasha said "Come on"Kas said she tilted her head toward the door of the training room "Before Fury sends Hill after us"Kas added with a soft playful smile. "You gonna be alright having to be around him for the next maybe week"Natasha asked "I don't really have a choice do I"Kas said "One word to Fury and you could go home"Natasha said.

"I don't really have a home Nat"Kas said with a sad smile "You know what I mean Kas. One word to Nick and you're back at your apartment" Natasha said. "I'll suffer through it" Kas said "Besides I've been through worse than an awkward situation" She said "Get a shower Blondie" Natasha said "You too Red"Kas said.

"Agent Romanoff,Agent Rogers this is Captain Steve......Rogers"Phil introduced Natasha and Kassie to Steve "Ma'am"Steve said with a respectful nod towards Natasha. "They need you on the bridge. They're starting the face trace"Kas said towards Coulson who nodded and then headed off,Steve fell into step with Natasha and Kassandra. "It was quite the buzz around here finding you in the ice"Natasha said "Thought Coulson was going to swoon"She added "Has he asked you to sign his captain america trading cards yet"Kas questioned.

Speaking to Steve for the first time since she found out who he was at the hospital "Trading card"Steve asked "They're vintage,he's very proud"Natasha said. "Dr Banner" Steve said as they saw the alter ego of the hulk aimlessly wondering the helicarrier "Oh yeah,hi"Bruce said "They told me you would be coming"Bruce said as he shook Steve's hand. "Agent Romanoff"He said with a nod towards Natasha "Dr Banner"The red haired woman said with a small nod "I'm sorry,I don't know who you are"Bruce said,he offered Kas his hand.

"Kassandra Rogers"Kassie said,she shook his hand "I wasn't aware The Cap had a sister"Bruce said "He doesn't"Kassie said. "Wife"Bruce said "Daughter"Steve said,Kas stiffened slightly,Natasha used her elbow to lightly touch the elbow of  Kas's green blazer. It's not that Kas is mad at Steve,she doesn't have a reason to be mad at him. Peggy may not have told Kas who her father was but she never stopped talking about her best-friend Steve.

If anything Kas is mad at her mother and with every right to be,but just because Kas isn't mad at Steve doesn't mean the situation is less awkward. The fact that he just came out of the ice not even a full year ago doesn't help either. Not only does he have to adjust to being in the twenty first century now he has to adjust to the fact that he has a daughter. "Gentlemen"Natasha said "You might want to step inside for a minute,it's about to get a little hard to breath"She added "Is this a submarine"Steve asked as gears began to clank and grind.
