THAT'S HOW

"Dad, why can't you understand? I don't want to do anything related to business!" I said as tears were brimming in my eyes.

" Jeong Yunho, don't be ridiculous! You are the successor of our company, don't be an embarrassment to us, We expected better from you. The thing, you want to do, it won't take you anywhere. Is singing even an source of earning? Maybe you'll earn today or tomorrow but what about your life? It can't feed you and your future family forever. Your grandfather is really proud of your school achievements, I'm sure you don't want to disappoint him. Keep singing and music as a hobby but you need to go for business, and that's final." My dad said in a awfully calm tone. Mom was standing from the kitchen door, just listening to our conversation, not a single word said.

"You are unbelievable" I muttered before heading out the house, I don't want to cope with this thought now.

After wandering for a while, I realized my feet brought me Infront of her house.
Sighing, I walked from their. I can't always ask for her comfort, I can't appear weak, not anymore.

I decided to walk to the childrens' park.
As it was dark, there were no kids and no one too. It was quite and peaceful here, I sat in one of the swing.
Spacing out, I felt a hit on my shoulder. I didn't winch as I know who was the person that hitted me.

Releasing a loud breath, she sat in the swing beside mine. I didn't look at her, I just couldn't otherwise it'll all come out, what inside my head.

"So..... Why are we here?" She said swinging herself slowly.

"How you know I was here?" I asked her ignoring what she asked, still not looking at her.

She stopped, "I saw you passing by my house... Did something happen?"

Taking a long breath, "why can they understand, I don't want to take business or those kind of stuffs, why must they push me to do all this things, when I can't even make myself to do this? Why can't they put themselves into my place for just once? Why can I just do what I love?" I turned to her, realizing she was looking at me, listening to every word I said. My tears, I really don't care for now.

"Am I really not worth it?" I asked her.

"who said, you aren't worth it? Ofcourse you are! I trust you, remember this. I know parents can be way too serious about our future and I know it's hard to keep everyone expectations, but have trust on yourself. You can always fight for your dreams and most importantly I'll fight for you too. We'll fight against the world for our dreams. Yunho-yah, I'm proud of you, of what you do, and what you are. I'm always here for you. I'm sure one-day, your parents will be proud of you too, just like I'm." She said with a pleasing and cheering smile.

" But Yun, never give up on your dreams please. It's always will be us against the world. Okay?" She said extending her palm towards me.

I look at her before putting my hand on it, "Yes, us against the world" I whispered slowly.

She smiled and look up to say, " Oh shoot! Look at the sky Yunho-yah!!!! It's so beautiful" she said her eyes shining bright as the stars in the sky.

"It is" I said slowly, looking up too.

That's why she's my place of comfort,my home. My relaxed piece of mind.

That's when I realized, she already had made fall for, since the beginning. I was just too dumb to realize.

And that's how, I realized I was lost.
