He rapidly hit the brakes and they came to a screeching stop on the long straight highway. 

With the sky pitch black and his headlights on his dark grey sports car being the only source of light, he could make out a dark figure wearing a slim-fitting red silk dress and long wavy brunette hair shining due to his headlights. There she was. The girl he tried to outrun for so long, standing directly in front of his windshield.

 He needed to face his problems, but this problem was different, and he knew it. He took everything from her and now she's going to get her closure, whether he liked it not.
