A Stupid Confession

Ch 5 - The Truth

The next day, i woke up in the arms of sensei and i freaked out. I immediately sat up but i was hit by a sudden headache and dizziness that i fell back to the bed.

"Good morning yuuji."

"Sensei. Didn't i say that you can't cross this line here?"

"But i didn't. You're the one who crossed the line. Look."

I look at my spot and shut up. I really was the one who went over the line. I have no excuses.

"I'm sorry."

"It's ok. I feel great being hugged by you and seeing your face first thing in the morning is great too."

"Urkk..."

"Let's wash up and eat breakfast. We have a long day ahead of us."

"Okay..."

Today, me and the other 1st years were given a mission to investigate the abandoned building because some kids went missing after playing in the area. As soon as we arrived there, megumi created a veil that covered the whole place and thus, began our investigation. Soon after, we found the missing kids but the curses took them hostage. We each fought a curse and scattered so that we won't involve the kids. During the fight, i got an idea of what i can and can't do. And although i don't have any curse technique, i can feel something within me. That something helped me defeat my opponent. We safely rescued the kids and then mission complete!

Today had been an exhaustive day. I went home and cooked a simple dinner. Then i wash up and went to bed. But i was startled to see gojo-sensei casually sitting on the sofa watching tv.

"Wah! Gojo-sensei?! What are you doing here?!"

"Ahh yuuji, wait i'm in a good part."

"Haaa..."

I sighed in resignation to the uninvited guest. He's been doing this ever since then. I don't know if he's serious or just making fun of me.

"Come here yuuji. Come on. Sit here."

"Haa... Sensei, i'm tired already. Can't you just watch this in your own house?"

I grumbled as i make way to where he was.

"What are you even watching? Whoa!"

"Ah! More! More please! Ah!"

"S-s-s-sensei... w-what the hell are you watching in someone else house?!!!"

"Eh? It's just what you see. Porn. Ah, do you want to join me?"

"Where did you even get that? I don't have that kind of thing on my cds!"

"Now now, don't sweat the details. It's already on the good part so want to watch together? Or do you want to do it with me?"

"W-what is?"

"Don't play dumb. You know what i'm talking about right? You know, that one."

Sensei got up and slowly walked towards me as he asked. I moved back one step at a time but i got pinned on the wall when there's no more space to back out to.

Scary! Scaryy!! SCARY!!

I tightly closed my eyes and put my hands in front of me to defend against whatever sensei is planning. I sensed him stop in front of me and tightened my defenses more. However, instead of attacking my arms, sensei lifted me up and pressed me against the wall.

In my surprise, i opened my eyes and grabbed onto sensei's shoulders but what came into view was his beautiful blue eyes and his face is too close. We were just about to kiss.

My mind was having too much thoughts that it made my eyes spin. To get out of this situation, i said whatever comes to my mind.

"Sensei, are you playing with me again?"

Sensei stopped. When i looked at him, my heart ache a little. He looked surprised and hurt.

"Again? I never once did play with you, yuuji."

He slowly put me down but the atmosphere is so awkward that i can't say anything.

"Sorry. It seems like i'm a bit drunk. I'm gonna cool off outside."

"...ah..."

Shit. Why did i say that? I'm so stupid. Haa... But gojo-sensei is always playing around. I don't know if he's serious or not. And in the first place, i'm not gay, am i? It's just that he's always teasing me and nothing more right? But he dis got jealous of megumi. Oh right. Why can't he be like megumi? Serious, kind, and definitely won't play around. That's why i can trust him.

"That's right, brat."

"Huh? Waahh!!"

Suddenly, there was a mouth on my hand and it freaked me out.

"Calm down. As i thought, megumi is better right, brat?"

"Huh? Eh? Ah, you're ryoumen sukuna right? What are you talking about?"

"That gojo is just playing around with us. He's not actually serious. Instead, megumi is more interesting."

"Us? What does that mean?"

"Haa... exactly what it means. Right now, we are one body and soul. In other words, ryoumen sukuna is itadori yuuji and itadoru yuuji is ryoumen sukuna. I am you and you are me. Well, you could just say that i am also a part of you."

"I don't get it. You're a curse right?"

"Yeah up until a while ago. When you ate the last remaining finger, we became one yuuji. That means i know very well the deepest parts of you. That includes your perception of gojo satoru and fushigoro megumi. However, it was only recently that our senses and feelings have become one. I thought i knew you well, kid but it was only your worries and fear that i have seen."

"Wait wait. So you're like another personality of me?"

"Well, you could say that. But we're still one nonetheless. I'll give back your memories now so good luck."

"Huh? Wa-!"

The memories i had forgotten came back to me. It was too much that it caused a headache enough to make me collapse.

I see. I remember now. Indeed, gojo-sensei looks like he's always playing around before but during the time i lost my memories, he's somewhat honest and serious. What a bothersome person. Sukuna just wanted to confirm sensei's feelings - or should i say 'me' now? Really, it's so stupid i could laugh.

I can't pass out now. I have to find sensei and explain it to him.

I dragged my heavy body outside to look for him. My breathing's heavy and i think i have a fever but still went on. I want to see him even for a second earlier.
