After changing into her pyjamas, Hope grabbed the basket that was already left in the dorm and grabbed the girls clothes that needed to be washed.
"I'll be back in twenty minutes!" She shouted to the girls before closing the door.
She walked down the hallway towards the elevator, she entered and clicked the button. The door slowly started closing until a hand appeared, stopping it from closing shut. Hope jumped for a second, not expecting it.
When the doors opened again, a guy appeared. He walked in beside Hope, the doors closed. Hope realized he was going to the same floor she was.
She tried getting a glimpse of him, without making it awkward. She finally got a glimpse of him, and to her surprise it was the guy, the guy who's ice coffee went all over her.
"Hey, I know you." She said, turning to him. He looked at her.
"The guy who didn't apologise when he spilt his coffee all over me." Hope muttered.
"Oh." Was all he said. Hope felt like slapping the guy, but she knew she couldn't.
"Do you not have anything to say to that?" Hope asked, still looking at the guy.
"Yeah, stop talking to me." He said, looking away from her.
Hope was taken aback by what he said. She chose not to say anything else.
The elevator came to a stop after a few seconds of silence, Hope stepped out and looked around quickly. She saw two people walking, and to her luck, one of them was holding a cup of water. She placed the washing basket down for a second before she ran over to the peopleand grabbed the cup.
"Thanks!" She said before running back to the guy and splashing the water all over the guys head.
"What the fuck?!" He said, peering down at his top. He then looked at Hope, before he got the cup thrown at his face.
Hope grabbed the washing basket off the ground and bolted for the launderette area. Her breathing became heavy as she kept running.
When she arrived at the launderette, she placed the washing basket down and fell to her knees to catch her breath. After she calmed down and got up and went to wash the clothes.
After Hope put the washing machine on, she checked and saw that it showed two hours, she got her phone out and set a timer for two hours and then headed back to the dorm.
She was aware of her surroundings, checking every two seconds to make sure the guy wasn't there. There wasn't anymore people in the lounge as everyone had headed back to their rooms.
Hope knew she needed to get back to the dorm before Jae and Karma ran off to kick down people's doors.
Once the elevator stopped, Hope walked to the door room and knocked.
"Come in." Someone said from the other side, though she recognised them as Karma.
"I can't, genius. You locked the door after I left." Hope told her, raising hwr voice so Karma could hear.
Hope heard some shuffling from the other side of the door before she heard the door unlock, opening the door to reveal Karma in her pyjamas.
"Quick, it's freezing out there." Karma rushed her inside.
Karma had the TV on, she was watching this drama, Jae wasn't anywhere to be seen anywhere so Hope assumed she was asleep.
"Did you even realize that we had a small fridge, kettle and microwave?" Karma asked Hope, pointing to the corner.
"I literally told you guys earlier, but you both were too busy unpacking." Hope said to her before sitting down on the couch.
"Oh, by the way," Karma said, running to her room, she then came back with a sheet. "That girl came around earlier, I think her name was Allie? Angie? She gave me a sheet that has all the activities we can take here." Karma passed Hope the sheet.
Hope straightened the sheet out and looked at all the options, volleyball, basketball, baking classes, netball.
"Are you gonna do one?" Hope asked her.
"Yeah, I'm gonna try out netball, I did it in the old school remember? With Jameson." Karma reminded her. Hope nodded as she remembered Jameson.
"Maybe I'll do baking classes, I don't know. I always liked baking." Hope said, looking at the baking option to see what room it was in.
Karma shrugged, Hope knew she wanted to say something bad about the baking, but she held herself back.
"What do you think Jae will do?" Hope asked, looking down at all the other options. Karma flicked through the stations, bored.
"Ah, I don't know, you'll have to ask her when she's up." Karma said, yawning. "I think I'm gonna go to bed too."
"Good idea, we need to get up early to go collect our schedules." Hope reminded her before turning off the TV.
"Uh huh." Karma said, not properly listening, before walking into her room and closing the door.
Hope wondered whether she should call her parents, but she also felt sad that they didn't try and call the girls either. They didn't do that much bad stuff, did they?
