Everyone has bad days, but for Katsuki his bad days seemed to be occurring more and more frequently. He would be in a bad mood, maybe even a worse mood, and he'd shout at people for the tiniest of things and that would just set off a chain of events never ending in his favour. Katsuki didn't really believe in karma but at this rate he might as well start being sweet and nice to everyone if this was how his days were going to go.
He was walking to his first class of the day, right on time. Aizawa was teaching class 1-A today and Katsuki really wasn't in the mood for it. With any luck Aizawa won't give up on them and make them do practical work.
With his head low and his shoulders slumped, Katsuki strolled towards his classroom. Once he arrived there, there was only three people present. He frowned in confusion and checked the time on his phone; he was five minutes early.
"I guess everyone shows up at the last minute" he thought. He noticed Iida and Deku were hunched over a notebook of Deku's, reading intently. Of course, he didn't ask. He did not care about whatever that idiot Deku was so interested in.
He walked over to his desk like he would've done every morning, but normal things for Katsuki were never going his way lately.
Eventually he was close enough that Kirishima would notice him. The red head looked up from his phone and his eyes landed on Katsuki. He immediately gave him a toothy grin and said, "Hey Bakugou, good morning, isn't it?" in his usually cheery tone.
"Sure, whatever." sighed Katsuki. But this was a mistake because obviously Kirishima was gonna inquire further.
"What's wrong Bakugou? Wake up on the wrong side of the bed again?" Kirishima pestered. He tilted his head and looked at Katsuki inquisitively.
Katsuki obviously wasn't gonna tell Kirishima anything but lying to him seemed like too much effort at the moment.
"Yeah sure, I guess." Katsuki sat down at this desk but Kirishima, not catching on that Bakugou wasn't in the mood to talk, asked even further.
"You know... you can always talk to me about anything if you want" Kirishima offered. As much as Bakugou appreciated his offer, he could only get suspicious that Kirishima knew something. Could he tell how sleep deprived Bakugou was?
"Uh, yeah sure. Thanks?" Bakugou didn't know what to say exactly. He hoped his answer would suffice and Kirishima would leave him alone.
Kirishima nodded and walked over to Denki, who had just entered the classroom. Bakugou let out a sigh of relief and shuffled down in his chair, fiddling with his pencil. Usually, Bakugou would explode at Kirishima and shout at him to mind his own business, but he just didn't have the energy anymore.
More people were beginning to pour in and take their seats while Aizawa scooted in inside his yellow sleeping bag. The bell rang in the background and everyone's conversations ended.
"Alright listen up you people." Aizawa said even though the room was already silent. He was holding a large stack of papers. "Here are your test results. Most of you passed which is good, I suppose..."
People started shifting in their chairs, leaning over to their friends, and whispering. Aizawa was handing out the test papers with the results on everyone's desks. Once he reached Katsuki's desk he places the paper carefully upside down. He leaned down and lower his voice so that only Katsuki could hear. "Come and see me after class." He said in a hushed tone. He walked off and continued with the rest of the class.
