Those Days...

Chapter 3 The Train,The Boy,The Orphanage

There I sat bored out of my mind on the train.I fell asleep once or twice..but I dreamt the same thing.I dreamt of how the orphanage is, probably a rusty old building, without an indoor bathroom.Then I notice the man who brought me here..he was staring at me."Hello Violet!" he said suprising me.How could he be smiling when he's taking an orphan girl to a horrible orphange? But i looked at his amber eyes, they were kind eyes, like my father's."Hi"I say back roughly. After that it was a silent ride.It's too bad I did'nt bring a book to read. I turn my head to look out the window, and I rubbed my eyes.I think I just saw a man staring at me..moving with the train. He wore all black and his eyes looked lifeless.But the wierdess part was that he looked like George.My old bestfriend who was sent to the orphanage a couple of years before.He died there as well, without an explanation on how.Ok now I'm just being silly.There is no such thing as ghosts and there will never be!That was my thought before I started to hear the screams!My esscort grabs my arm and half drags me half carries me out the train door.Then everything started looking dark, the last thing i hear is my esscort saying we're here.

        Where am i?How did i get here?!I open my eyes to see i'm in such a fancy room.I see a woman walk in with a tray of food.Not old bread,but oatmeal and pancakes.Also what i think is orange juice, i've never tried it before."Good Morning Sleepy Head!"says the woman.She was thin and young.She wore a green uniform, silk black skirt and her hair was tied into a bun.I rushed her with a bunch of questions when she sat down,"Where am i? I'm suppose to be at an orphanage!Is this a hospital?"She looked at me calmly "you are in a orphanage's nursing room,and my name is Rose.But you are suppose to call me Nurse."Rose,my sister,how could this happen?!Why am i in a room with someone who might make me cry?Holding back tears, i start to think..this isn't anything like how i imagined it to be.The bed was soft,with a golden detailed headboard.Velvet curtains,a dresser that matched the headboard and a bookshelf.There was more furniture but before i can figure out what they were the nurse shoved the tray onto my lap and gave me some medicine.I ate as if i've never eaten anything in my life.I gulped down the medicine along with some water.Everything tasted amazing.The nurse said "you eat like a wild coyote!Noww Violet let's get you changed,oh and i'm sorry but we couldn't find ur backpack."At first i thought i was looking at an idiot, because ofcourse she didn't notice my backpack was right next to me, but i didn't mention it.I got up and realized something about the nurse.She looked so young but at the same time looked old.But the most wierd was that her veins were changing colours.From green to blue to red and it repeats.What is wrong with her?
