Third person view
So Kamiya was abandoned at the age of 10 by his parents on the streets and he knew that one day that this would eventually happen since they kept blaming the innocent boy for whatever the reason it may be. But he was intelligent and knew how to start working. Atleast, him knowing Tagalog, Japanese and English would help him communicate with anyone in order to find a small part time job, since, you know, he is a kid.
Two days passed but no one wanted to help the kid nor let him work with them as they thought that someone was using the child as a spy as no one would believe his intelligence.
By now he was starving, almost to death, and how bad was he stinking without having a quick and nice wash. Btw, he sweats a lot.
After moving from one place to another, alas, he almost gave up and sat on a sack bag and was thinking what to do in order to get food. He doesn't have a single penny to start with, and to add to that, people assumed that he was a begger(forgot to mention that his clothes are torn, sticky, and soaked in muddy water as he tripped over a stone and fell into it. RIP) just by the look of his clothes.
Poor Kamiya, or should I say, Kamiya the poor and broke child could not help but just give up.
Suddenly, a gentleman approached the boy and decided to sit next to him and asked, “My child, I haven't seen you in this place, and I do believe you don't live here. May I ask you where are your parents dear? ”
“Hi mister, yes, I don't belong here and no, I don't have parents anymore as they left me here to die. I've been starving for two whole days with no food and I'm trying to find a job.”
“Oh no dear, it's sad that your parents don't acknowledge you. But how old are you?”
Kamiya found this as a chance to get a job and he knew that the age to start working would be 14 years. So he lied saying, “14, mister.”
“FOURTEEN?! You look too young to be 14 years. I hope you are not lying.”
“Mister, I believe there is a saying that says 'looks doesn't speak about someone's appearance,” he said gracefully. (btw, idk if there is even a saying like that. Just pretend that it exist ok and do tell your teachers to add those- I think I should stop.)
“Oh wow! You certainly have the knowledge of a 14 year old, or more than that of a 25 year old” he said quite shocked at what he heard from the small boy. "I am shocked that no one sees your intelligence and appreciate it. "
"ahaha," Kamiya nervously laughed, trying not to sound too suspicious.
“Mister, if you're grateful enough, could you please tell me if there is any job applications for a part time job? It would be great if you did so.”
“Yes! Definitely!”
“Oh great! Could you please tell me what is the job?” he tried to sound more professional.
“Sure! There is a café nearby and we need more staff members to work there. Any age between 14-34 can work.”
“So when do I join- w-wait. Did you say 'we' need more staff???”
The man laughed and nodded a yes to Kamiya.
"WOW! THATS COOL!- I-I meant that's great! When should I start?"
"You can do it right now!"
"I'm so thankful for your kindness sir! "
" It's not a problem. But first I suppose you need a place to stay, right?"
"Aah, yes I do need a place to stay as I'm quite homeless..." He said with a gloomy face.
"Maybe with the money you get you can stay at a close by apartment. "
"Oh there is!? That's delightful! Thank you so much! "
"You're most welcome! "
The man had come to that place with his car so he let Kamiya in his car. He asked him to wait a bit as he was in urgent to buy something as well as clothes for Kamiya.
