November 25th.
My bosom buddy Sunny,
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful that I'm surrounded by my loved ones, but we're all missing you. Your parents almost always look down. Do you think they wished they hadn't sent you to the school?
How come you're not writing back? I'm trying not to be annoying, which is why I'm only writing once over a few months. Did you even get my letters? This is so weird.
I know you must have a great meal there, but no meal can compare to Aunt Anne's chicken noodle soup. It's so good.
Johnny made fun of my red hair again. He's so stupid! It's okay though, because Auntie Anne scolded him. I love Auntie Anne's hair color. It's such a fiery red color. Mine is more strawberry blonde, though.
Don't get mad, but an exchange student from Germany came here!! EEEK! It's so exciting! Her name is Emilia, but we all call her Emmy. Isn't Susannah also a German name?
Emmy is great. We made flower crowns for each other the other day, and Auntie Anne even paid us a dime for one! Aunt Diana is coming back on Christmas!
I have so many trinkets and gifts for you, but Mother won't let me send them. She says something about someone being dead. Does she mean a mailman died?
Can you visit us for Christmas too? We would love to have you back. And doesn't your school have winter break? Write to me!!
Your Soulmate,
Lemon <3
