At yubi's dorm

The girl placed two cup of paper mint tea on the table and sat beside her man namjoon.

The jinx phone call namjoon got earlier brought a bad news in his life , he got to know from a doctor that his mother is having a tumor in her brain. It was 4th stage tumor which can be barely cured.

Seeing him crying silently broke her heart , she gently place her hand on his shoulder "come here joon" she mumbled as namjoon wasted no time and collapse in her arms. His head was resting on her chest which was comfy like a pillow. Yubi caresses his hairs and try to hold back her tears "when she used to say my head hurts I thought she'd be making excuses for me staying bit more with her" namjoon whispered and clutch yubi even more tighter. " Shhh... she'll be fine joon" she console and close her eyes leaving the tears free to fall. "I'm worse son ever" namjoon exclaimed and hitched between his sobs. "Joon... don't say-" her words remained unfinished when namjoon's phone rang out of nowhere , he quickly let go yubi's body and grabbed his phone with shaky hands.

"H-Hello.

Y-yea?

Can it be?

W-what?

No matter how much it'll cost!!

Under 6 months?

O-okay!!! Ok! I'll do my best! Thank you so much!"

Namjoon hung up the phone call. A small smile of hope appeared on his face as he faced his almost girlfriend and hugged her tightly. Yubi had no idea what happened between namjoon and the caller but she felt relieved when she saw namjoon smiling a lil. "What happened?" She asked and caresses his back gently as namjoon broke the hug and hold yubi by her shoulders.

"They said a s-surgery is chance to save her!!" He announced in low voice making yubi sigh in relief and smile. Girl hold onto his cheeks and stare at him fondly with heart eyes "see , there's always a hope!" Yubi exclaimed and bloomed with most beautiful heart shaped smile with the tears of pleasure in her eyes. Namjoon grab yubi's cheeks and begin to stare at her until he went back to anxiety again. The girl noticed stressed on his face which fade her smile softly. "What's wrong joon?" Yubi questioned in low voice which left namjoon sigh.

"They said , surgery cost 8.5 million won." (500k indian rupee / 7149$ USD)
As soon as yubi heard that from namjoon her eyes widened. In her entire life she's never seen even 1 million won together and this was about 8.5. Her brain lost sense for few seconds to process the things. "I know, it left you speechless too.... Now I don't know how will I manage to get this amount." Namjoon spoke but nothing was heard by yubi. "I will not get 8.5 million won even if I sell Myself at a whorehouse as hooker" he hide his face in his palms as yubi slapped his arm softly. "Ay! Stop speaking rubbish!! I'm with you , we'll work for this together! I'll try to do more part time jobs!" Yubi suggested as namjoon turned his eyes surprisingly at her "why will you?" He questioned like a dumb "would you have left me alone if I was facing your situation?" Yubi said in soft voice making namjoon shake his head "never-" "that's what I'm doing joon" she said. Again namjoon hugged her with tears and whispered thank you next to her ear. "Also , I have few money in bank account. I saved it for my future (marriage). It is not a lot but it'll help a bit" yubi spoke with a small smile of hope on her face where namjoon sightly scoff "it's not only your mom , she's something to me too." She whispered. Winning the heart of namjoon, he hug her even more tight.

None of them broke hug this time till the dusk bloom into dawn.

Next day both of them were at railway station waiting for the train to take namjoon to Ilsan. He stuffed few of his clothes and before leaving he ask for some money to his boss (in the case if you don't remember, namjoon works at mall) His boss was kind hearted that he allowed joon to leave the work suddenly and help him with small amount of money.

Before the train make arrival both youngsters were quitely staring at the railway track as both of them were lost in different though."Yubi-" namjoon called the girl next to him as she looked at him with sorrowful eyes "what happened?" Namjoon ask in low voice when he noticed her concern face and few drop of tears , as yubi shook her head "joon , you will not leave me like grandma right?" she asked with worried look holding on her face. For few seconds namjoon stayed quite and stare at yubi like he's watching her his last time. "i will not say never , because death won't spare anyone of us yubi" namjoon spoke the fact which made yubi cry silently. "But as long I'm alive , you'll never walk alone" namjoon told while wipping a small drop of tear which was glowing on yubi's cheek. A small sad smile appear on boy's lips when he heard train's horn from a long distance. "Now I don't have much time yubi. Do not over work ok? " He asked marking the girl nod with a hard gulp. "I'll wait for your calls" she said as namjoon scoffed "yeah!" Yubi took few steps forward and hold namjoon's cheek while staring at him like he gonna disappear "once I'm back , I have something important to talk to you" namjoon said , yubi's eyebrows furrow "about what?" She whispered. A small smile appear on namjoon's face as he caresses Yubi's soft lips "something about yOUR future" he told and place a soft kiss on her forehead. As yubi understood she throw her arms onto his neck and hugged him very tightly. "I'll miss you namjoon" she whispered next to his ear. "Me too." He responded and close his eyes to keep this moment as an epic one in his memories. I love you namjoon. She mumbled in her mind and was about let those words out but suddenly the train came to apart both of them. Slowly they release each other and got away while watching each other's sad face. "keep those words in your heart for a while. I'll be back soon yubi." Namjoon said making yubi smile sadly and nod. "Take care" he Said and cupped her cheek for last time and walked towards the train along with his luggage.

Yubi was gently waving at his back as namjoon could not dare to turn back and watch her sorrowful face. He just waved at her without turning around as the door closed and train begin to leave the station.
