“OH MY GODS! MY DREAM HAS COME TRUE!” Kesh said as she started to run towards the lumber mill and started to chop wood.

“Welcome Polaris. It has been too long,” A woman said as Kesh sped past her. She started to walk down to the others as Kesh became a lumberjack.

“Too long indeed. We need to talk though, is there any place we can go?” Polaris asked as the woman led them towards a large stump of a tree. Polaris sat down and a man approached. The woman wore a dress and the man wore clothes fit to run the mill.

“Has anyone come up the road from Helgen today?” Polaris asked holding her head in her hands fighting off what looked to be a headache.

“Not today. You lot are the only ones to come up the road today,” The woman said as she pulled out a vile of tonic and gave it to Polaris. Polaris quickly downed it and gave the vile back.

“By the gods. I am sorry but I don’t know about your brother, if he survived,” Polaris said solemnly as the woman looked at her.

“What happened Polaris? You have to tell me so we may know,” The woman said as a young boy came running over with a dog.

“Mother, father, aunt Polaris, what are you doing here?” The boy said running over to Polaris. She affectionately petted his head and petted the dog.

“Go to the gate to Helgen and look for any Imperial soldiers. We have to talk to Polaris about something,” The woman said to the boy as he looked at his mother.

“But mom! I want to stay with Aunt Polaris!” The boy complained. Polaris petted his head again.

“Getting bigger every day, soon enough you’ll be strong enough to join the companion’s like me or the Stormcloak’s like your uncle,” Polaris said as the boy looked at Polaris again, eyes shining bright.

“Don’t worry Auntie Polaris I’ll make sure no Imperial soldiers can get you!” The boy said running off to the town. In the distance they heard the lumber mill going. Kesh still over there… chopping wood.

“So what happened? You normally try to avoid contracts that bring you this way. Why all of a sudden you’re here without your pack?” The woman asked as Polaris looked at her. Jondeir, Shadow March and Locket stood at the back of the stump giving Polaris room to breathe… Kesh was still chopping wood.

“I was doing Companion work. I had been waiting for Vilkas, Farkas and Aela to catch up to me because I was going to look at a possible Silver Hand hideout when I was caught in the middle of a fight with the Imperials and the Stormcloak’s. I was caught and taken to Helgen where your brother and Ulfric Stormcloak were. That’s when I realised it would be my last stop. I guess we were lucky that there was a dragon. It caused a scene and we were able to get away without harm. Your brother though, I haven’t seen him since,” Polaris said as the woman looked at her.

“No matter if my brother has died he died doing something he loved. If there is a dragon at Helgen you must alert the Jarl in Whiterun for me. As I own the most land around here saying I asked you he must listen,” She said as there was a racket coming from the lumber mill.

“Chill out, I’ve got this under control,” They heard Kesh say as they moved towards the mill. When they got there it looked as if Kesh had been lying, “My tail! Somebody get my useless tail out from there!” The cat screamed as her tail was stuck between two logs. Polaris and the woman sighed as they both moved the log off of the tail and looked at the cat.

“We’re leaving now Kesh, come along,” Polaris said waving goodbye to the woman and the man.

“I’m not your- hey a butterfly on a stick! Give it here!” Kesh said chasing the butterfly that Polaris had attached to a stick. As she walked away Kesh followed mesmerised trying to get the butterfly.
