Chapter 4

Harry’s POV

I saw Adelaide’s disappointed look and I felt terrible. It was supposed to be a fun night out and it turned bad. It kinda pissed me off that Niall thought it was ok to ditch the girls for two hours. I honestly didn’t realize how much time had passed and I felt like such a jerk.

“I’m really sorry about that.” I said sitting down on the wet street curb beside her “It was totally unfair for us to do that and for Niall to act that way.” I took a deep breath not looking up before I continued “I love the fans but sometimes they need to understand we need some space and I guess the fact that we always just give in isn’t really helping. Everyone warns you about how you will have no private life but I never really understood that until now. I mean I wouldn’t change it for the world but…” I sighed

“It’s ok Harry. You’re and international pop sensation. It’s just sitting in the rain for two hours when you have plans isn’t the nicest.”

“Hey, do want to go home and hang out, just you and me.” I asked looking up at her “or do you want to go back with the others?”I added

“No, I would love to go back with you.” She said flashing me a smile

“Ok let me just call us a cab and we’ll be on our way.” She nodded her and pulled her arms closer around her body, shaking slightly. I slipped off my jacket and draped it around her shoulders and pulled her into my side. I haven’t even known her for that long but I feel connected with her.

When the cab pulled up we quickly jumped in and she told the driver her address. We rode home in silence and I waited as she looked for her key. As we stepped inside she handed me my jacket with a quick smile.

“So what do you wanna do?” she asked

“Watch a movie?” I suggested

“Sure, I’ll go make some popcorn. The movies are over there.” She motioned to a cabinet in the living room “How about you pick one out.”

“Ok.” I open the cabinet looking through the movies and a few minutes later Adelaide came back into the living room with popcorn and some blankets.

“Did you pick?” she asked sitting down

“No, I didn’t know what you like so… you can pick, anything you want.”

“How about the last song, that’s one of my favourites.”

“The last song it is then.” I said putting in the movie and sitting down beside her. As the movie went one Adelaide moved so she was lying across my chest, not that I minded and she had tears running down her cheeks. I wiped them away and realised she had fallen asleep and soon I had to.
