Adelaide’s POV
Alexa and I sat in the studio planning our performance for the “SATURN RECORDS” yearend talent showcase. Dad had mentioned early that some of his colleagues would be attending; people find it odd that dad had not yet signed us himself but he always says we need to work towards our own goals. One Direction were supposed to be meeting us today to “coach” us but I really don’t know how well that will go. Alexa and I had already warmed up our voices and had decided we would be practicing A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. We really wanted to beat Crystal and Brittany this year. I always thought we were better but lost because their father had many contacts in production with the showcase.
“Hello, ladies!” called out Louis as the boys burst through the door
“Hello, how are you guys?” asked Alexa politely
“Fantastic”
“Fabulous”
“Hungry”
“Attractive”
“Good” listed off the boys
“Well that’s great” I stated getting off the couch “We should get to work”
“What song are you guys practicing? Maybe we could sing the harmony?” asked Harry
“Sure” I replied “We are practicing A Thousand Years by Christina Perri”
“OK awesome lets run through it!”
I picked up my guitar and began to strum the chords as Alexa handed out the sheet music to the boys. I have to say by the end of the song we sounded as if we had practiced it a thousand times.
“Wow, you guys are really good you really don’t need our help!” complemented Niall
“Thanks” Alexa and I exclaimed
My excitement was quickly turned into hatred when the door flung open to reveal two bleach blonde barbies.
“Heyy boys!” they all but screeched
Louis , Harry and Liam looked confused; Niall looked like he honestly couldn’t care less about who they were and Zayn didn’t even look up.
“Hello” Liam said trying to be polite “Can we help you with anything?”
“We just thought we could show you some real talent.” Replied Brittany
“You know unlike these two,” said Crystal baking her up
The boys looked stunned that the girls would say such a thing, to be honest nothing about those two or what they said surprised me anymore.
“No” Louis said with a dead serious look on his face
Now it was the barbies turn to be surprised as they silently turned and shut the door. The boys burst out laughing.
“What’s with those two?” asked Liam
“Like seriously, who do they think they are?” said Zayn
“Are you ok?” said Harry looking at me
I snorted “That’s pleasant compared to the usual and to answer your question their Mark Ricardo’s daughters.”
“The famous producer?” questioned Liam
“Yup” replied Alexa
“Well that’s no reason for them to be so rude”
“Try telling them that”
“I’d rather not talk to them anytime soon.”
I was happy that the guys agreed they were being rude. Most guys would ask for a date considering that they were the most “popular” and “pretty” rich girls in LA.
“Hey we should all go out for dinner!” suggested Harry looking at me
