Going with the flow

Aleena was walking out of her last period and she was getting ready to go home. It was around 3:30 PM and she was in the front of the school waiting for her dad to pick her up. While she was waiting she was thinking about how she would do on her test because she was nervous.

-BEEP BEEP- a sudden honk sound appeared out of nowhere. "Aleena lets go!" her dad yelled out from the car. As she was nodding she got her backpack and she walked to her dad's car. She opened the door and sat inside. She was so tired that she fell asleep for 30 minutes.

-30 minutes later-

Aleena slowly woke up and rubbed her eyes. "Oh, looks like we're home" She whispered to herself in a sleepy tone. She went inside the house and said hi to her mom and went upstairs.

She had unwrapped her hijab now that she was just with her family. She went ahead and changed into some comfortable pajamas and went downstairs to the couch. As she plopped down she had to enroll one by one in the google classrooms. "I am so tired of doing all of this why can't I just do this later" Aleena said. She still got it done however she felt a little fur ball under her legs. "What might this be?" She curiously said to herself. As she looked down it was her cat, Kitkat. Kitkat was a light gray cat that Aleena and her family got 3 months ago. She picked up Kitkat and put her( Kitkat) in her arms.

-Elis's side of her story of coming home-

I walked home after school. I am a Japanese American. I saw Aleena get bullied earlier that day. I know how she felt. Those same kids always bullied me because I am Japanese and they say that I "Am a Japanese spy" even though I am an American citizen. I was, however, born in Tokyo, Japan, but my family and I moved here when I  was 6. When I got home I put my backpack on a chair. My parents and my older sister weren't home. My older sister is 21 years old. My mom worked at the nearby hospital and my dad worked for a company that traveled around the state.

I have 2 pet lizards. A bearded dragon and a blue-belly. I took my bearded dragon Emerelda out of her terrarium and took her upstairs with me to my room.

"I made a new friend today Em!" I whispered to her. Two hours later I finished my math, ELA, science and history homework. By then it was 5:00. I decided that I was going to eat something different for lunch the next day at school. I got out my mom's crockpot and went out to the store and bought potatoes, carrots, celery, some snacks and curry mix. I was going to make curry. It would last me a while. I started to make the curry. I was going to let it cook and broil overnight. By then it was 6:30. I then went over to my refrigerator and got out milk and some cereal. I had breakfast for dinner. A few hours later I showered, changed into my pajamas, brushed my teeth and hair and went to bed. By then it was 9:45. I couldn't wait to get to school tomorrow.

The next day -7 am-

-Aleena's side-

As Aleena woke up from her alarm for 7:00 AM she was very excited to go ahead and meet Elis. She then walked like a penguin when she was walking to her bathroom. "I am so tired, but so excited!" She said happily. She brushed her teeth and started to wash her face. "Alright, I need to go ahead and grab my outfit that I had planned last night. As she went ahead and changed she went to her desk to go ahead and put on her hijab. Hmm, this teal hoodie can go with my loose black pants and a black scarf! When she put on her outfit she grabbed her backpack and ran downstairs. "Bye Mama, I got to go" Aleena said quickly. She grabbed an egg burrito in a paper towel and rushed outside. "Bye dear!" Osya replied.

-15 minutes later-

She got out of the car and she went inside the school and met up with Elis in the school hallways. Aleena once again didn't feel as worried because she was with Elis. "Hey Aleena, I think that Emma girl is going to be facing you again because she kept on putting sad quotes on her instagrams story. Elis showed her phone of Emma's mad quotes from yesterday. "Of course, she always has to notify the whole entire world on how she feels. Let's just forget about it and go to class." Aleena grunted. Elis nodded and went with Aleena talking about school while going through the hallways.
