You swiped at your alarm, begging it to stop ringing. Even though you had a full nights sleep and it was only 10am, you felt incredibly groggy. 'Great way to start the first day Y/N!'.  You rubbed your eyes and quickly smoothed out your hair. Throwing the nearest item, a slipper, at Kimi in an attempt to wake her.

"Get up loser! Your classes start before mine remember? You've also got that club thing after your first class right?" You threw the other slipper then a plushie and finally a pillow at her.

"Alright, alright I'm getting up... jeez" she rolled over toward you, trying to prop herself up on her elbows but failing the first time.

"Good, I'm gonna go get us some coffee and I'll be back. Vanilla iced latte?" You slipped into some leggings and a hoodie.

"With a double shot... thanks" She rolled off the bed and staggered toward the bathroom.

You successfully acquired coffee without running into anyone gorgeous, doing great so far. You push back into the room only to see Kimi already made up and dressed to the nines, as usual. She takes her coffee and takes a long sip.

"You're the best friend a girl could hope for" she pretended to wipe away a tear. "Speaking of great friendship! Change! I cannot tolerate you covering up my hot best friend! Especially not when you've got a hot date tonight after class." She all but begged you to change.

"Kimi, I already told you it's not like that. I look fine, its just class! I'll change into something else later before I go out, okay?" You attempted to compromise, knowing if you don't say you'll change later she will burn the hoodie with you in it.

"Fine... but at least wear a nicer hoodie, that one has like 3 holes in it" She hugged you and ran off to meet Talia for breakfast before class. You looked down at the hoodie you had on, She did have a point. You put on a newer sportswear hoodie you had and tried to make your hair look half decent at least. You put on some mascara and a tinted lip balm and decided that was enough for class.

You spent a little while walking around aimlessly with your map, lost even though you were sure you knew where you were going. 'Good thing I left early'  You sighed at your own directional ineptitude. Finally seeing the building name you were looking for you sat down in your first class, Contemporary Poetry.

The first 2 classes had been just looking over and reading the syllabus and addressing any questions or going over certain projects without much detail. It was rather boring, but most first days are. Able to find your way around now, you sat in your last class of the day, Creative Fiction. You were most excited for this class, the teacher did a brief introduction to the course and asked that the students write a short story of any genre that they like so that they could get an understanding of each persons capabilities and viewpoints. The assignment sounded so exciting to you, you weren't sure what to write about yet. Maybe an idea would come to you before the due date next week.

You smiled on your way out of the class, noticing that the time was just before 5. You rushed back to the dorm knowing Kimi would be there, She only had 2 classes today so she was done around 3pm.

"Kimi! I got the coolest creative writing assignment today!" You burst into the dorm room, Talia was in there as well. They looked like they were talking about something really serious. "Is everything okay?"

"Y/N, this is important. I want you to pick a number from 1 to 4" Kimi looked at you like this was a life or death situation.

"Uhhhhh... 3?" You quirked a brow, wondering what the heck was going on. Talia looked Kimi in the eyes and Kimi burst out into a fit of joy.

"AMAZING!!! She's so predictable!! I knew she'd pick 3" Kimi squealed.

"Y/N I am so sorry!! I tried to reign her in!!!" Talia looked at you apologetically.
