I sat in my office admiring the view of Downtown Detroit. It was a beautiful city honestly. Especially during the day. People watching was one of my favorite things to do. You learned how to read people as if they were open books. For instance there's a man I see right now, he takes his lunch break at Marceano's deli every afternoon at 4pm. He had a kid also, he FaceTimed her every day while he waited at the sub shop, that happened to be right in front of my building's entrance. He must be making good money where ever he works, because he drives in a Bentley truck. There was a knock at my door taking me out of my trance.
"Enter," I spoke with authority. The door opened and my right hand, Blaise walked in, sitting across from me.
"Spark wanna how much she needs get off Parker'nem?" I thought for a second before writing an amount on the note card and passing it to her. I never speak anything that has to do with my secondary business out loud. Any and everything could be wire tapped and especially after they started implementing D.R.A.N.O, I couldn't afford to be caught up. She grabbed the slip and nodded before smiling at me, and letting it go through the paper shredder.
"Okay bestie. Dinner at my house tonight?"
"I looked at her and gave a small wink, before writing on another note, 'nah, dinner at mine'. She nodded once more and sent the paper through. She stood giving me a nod.
"Oh shit don't forget we still gotta pick up our shirts & shit from Taya for the basketball game tomorrow," I reminded her.
"Oh you right! Imma call her and see what time she want us to pick them up, I'll let you know," I nodded and she hugged me before heading out. I chuckled and continued on with my people watching.

"Ang, we got the last package delivered today. Where you what it?" I looked over at the young boy and told him to take it to the back stock area.
"Shiittt girl!" I groaned as I pushed this lil freak bitch head down further.
She started to choke, but quickly adjusted. I was damn near fucking her throat. One last thrust and I busted in the condom. I tapped shorty cheek and told her to go clean herself up. I personally flushed the condom cause bitches be sketchy as fuck in the hood. Especially them east side hoes.
I sent Niko a text telling him to meet me in the White room. The white room was our sacred space. No windows, sound proof, and best of all, no cameras. In fact I didn't even allow people to come in with electronics. There's no way I'm letting the fed's tap me. We dropped our phones in the lock box held by my most trusted Guard, Prious. Once we were in the doors closed and business began.
"So what's the word on them Firey mu'fuckas that call they selves running shit in the D?" He chuckled at my description but I was anything but joking.
"I found out Wings go to school with one of they youngins. As far as the head that nigga must think he a ghost or some shit cause ain't nobody ever seen dog," he broke it down as he leaned back, getting comfortable.
"That nigga smart. I'll give him that. He ain't smarter than me though, that's for damn sure. In the mean time, make sure everybody ready for the Basketball tournament tomorrow. I refuse to leave with anything less than that damn trophy and two bitches ok each side of me," we laughed as he dapped me up.
"I feel it cous'. I got my left reserved for the East side hoes and right especially reserved for my Westside hoes," I laughed at the goofy ass nigga before knocking against the door in the specific cadence that let Prious know to open the door. He handed us our phones and we went our separate ways. I made my way back to my office to pack up the last of my things. I had a nice lil drive home from downtown, so I wasn't tryna leave nun behind. You see the city will always have my heart. I grew up what most would consider a 'Bebe's kid', until I hit about twelve years old. My mama finally let me leave the block with my friends and my eyes were opened to so many new things. You see, I grew up on 8 mile and Evergreen. My mama had sheltered me for majority of my life but once I rounded that corner to the next block, I realized there was so much more than I had known. The neighbor drug dealer, we called him Mackie. Mackie was still my big homie till this day. Mackie was a good one though. He always looked out for the kids & women in the city. He gave back to his community, despite of the things he did to get where he is now. After growing up in the heart of the west side though, I quickly made up my mind that I'd i ever touched some food money I would move myself and my mother out the hood. And I did just that. Now my mama is in a two bedroom two and a half bath with my little sister up in West Bloomfield. Me on the other hand, I had a nice lil condo, up in Farmington Hills. I walked out the office building placing everything the back seat of my Blacked out and I got going. I ended up stopping at the sub shop to grab a sandwich. It took him sometime to make it as he hand cut the deli meat, so I called my baby sister, Anastasia to pass time. We talked for a while and before I knew it the man called out for my order. I thanked him and than I went home. I'll admit it, it get lonely coming home to an empty house. I'm damn near thirty and still have no one to share it with. But what can I say, this is the shit that comes with the game. Gotta Pursue fucked up scenarios and situations to protect the ones I love the most. Usually by the time I've eaten and mad it home, all things work are off my mind until my relaxation period is over. But her I was, thinking. There was just one thing that I couldn't wrap my head around; Who the FUCK is running inferno mafia?
