What's Love?

Love. Venom had heard that word before, they just didn't know what it meant. So one day they decided to ask Eddie.

"Hey Eddie. Can we talk?" Venom asked later. "Yeah." Eddie replied, wondering what they had to say.

"What is love?" Eddie knew they would ask one day, he just didn't expect that right now. He paused for a bit wondering how to explain it.

"Umm... Love is- it's- it's when you care for someone else, I guess." Eddie stuttered, not knowing how to answer. "I care for you. And protect you. Does that mean I love you?"

Eddie felt himself turning a little red. "Uh. I'm not sure buddy. That's up to you to decide. There's multiple kinds of love. One is platonic, which is when you care for someone, but not in a romantic or sexual way." He could feel Venom becoming more confused.

"You were in love with her, right?" Venom asked, her being Anne. "Yeah. That would be romantic love. Which is like platonic but you do stuff like kissing and dating." Venom started to understand a bit more but was still a bit confused.

They did understand the topic made him uncomfortable. They could have just figured it out themself, but he looked cute when he was all flustered.

"You know what? I'm sure I can find a video of this online." Eddie said, feeling too embarrassed to continue. "Ok." Venom said, slightly disappointed that they wouldn't get to keep seeing him all embarrassed.

Sure enough he did find a video. After watching it, Venom understood. Feeling slightly awkward, Venom said, "I think I'm in love with someone."

Eddie was shocked. Could it be him?, he thought. No that's stupid. Why would it be him? But who else would it be?

"Yes it's you, dumbass." "Well excuse me for not having mind reading powers! Also we talked about this don't go through my- wait it is me?" Eddie said, just realizing what they said.

"Dumbass." Venom muttered, before pulling Eddie closer to him, which prompted a small gasp of surprise out of him. Then he suddenly felt Venom in his mouth, realizing they were kissing him. He started kissing them back and felt them smirk, which made him kiss harder.

"So does that mean we're dating now?" Eddie asked, after processing things. "Do you want to?" "That would be amazing."
