The fundraiser me and my 4 friends, Alicia, Maxine, Leila, and Amber-lee are hosting is going quite well. We've raised enough money for our goal by now, but a little bit more money wouldn't hurt right?
"Aela (AY-LAH), look at those guys over there!"
Maxine whispered in my ear.
I glanced over to where she had been looking a second before, and spotted two gorgeous guys looking at some of the things we were selling.
There was a shorter, blonde haired-blue eyed skater looking guy, and then there was a taller, brown haired-brown eyed guy. He had a really cute face, innocent.
"What do you think?"
I barely heard Maxine saying this to me because I was so distracted in the two guys.
"What? Oh, yeah, they're cute."
She giggled and spoke again...
"I'm going to go ask if they need help finding something and ask for their names!"
"Maxine! No wait!"
I wasn't quick enough, she had already started going towards them.
I saw her talking to them, very calmly. Maxine had always been very good with boys, although she is currently not in a relationship.
Amber-Lee has a boyfriend, and Leila is 'seeing' someone.
Me and Maxine were the boyfriend-less ones.
Maxine gave me a couple glances, followed by the taller boy who kept looking at me. I looked away and acted like I hadn't seen them peeking, but then Maxine came galloping back towards me.
"Aela! Aela! I found out their names!"
"And?"
"The tall one is Liam, the shorter one is Sean. I totally dig Sean."
Liam. Liam was the taller one, and the one that I fancied.
I wanted to know more about Liam.
"Anything else on Liam?"
I said quickly and quietly to Maxine.
"No, but he's going to buy something, so lets tell the girls to let you take this one."
Cool.
"Leila, let Aela take this guy over here."
"Sure."
She backed away from the table where you payed, and I stepped up.
Liam soon came to purchase the item he was holding. It was one of my old CD's that I put up for sale.
"Hello, will that be all for you today?" I said to him in a professional sort if way.
"Yes, thank you Aela."
"You know my name?"
"Your friend told me, hope you don't mind."
He was so innocent.
Kind and gentle.
"No not all, Liam."
"You know mine as well."
I smiled.
"My friend... She's quite the flirt."
He laughed at my joking remark.
"Well Aela, here's $5.00 for the CD. Thank you"
"No, thank you. Have a nice day"
Although the last three words I didn't want say had to come out, I was hoping for more.
I was about to put the $5 bill into our bin when I flipped it over and something was written on it.
His phone number.
He wrote his phone number on it.
Yes! I scored! Now tomorrow I could text him.
What was this going to turn into? Another silly crush, a boyfriend, or my soul mate?
Only time can tell...
