Chapter 8

As she walks inside, the woman she's been partnered with was at the side of her bed, turning her back at Lisa while rummaging on her backpack trying to find something. Lisa's breath hitched and her heart stops beating for a second when she realized who was that woman.

"Oh hi lisa, I didn't expect you to be my partner."

Lisa almost dies when she forgot how to breathe for a second.

"Y-Yeah hello.. Lia-ssi."

The air she didn't know she was holding escaped from her mouth loudly and the sound didn't go unnoticed to her roommate. Lia instantly gave her raised eyebrows, as if she can feel something fishy about the hamster face girl.

"Are you expecting someone in particular?" Lia asks and chuckled at Lisa's nervous features.She was aware of Lisa's head-to-toe admiration with Jennie that's why she can't help but tease the girl when she noticed it's disappointed but at the same time relieved face. To be honest, Lisa was not fully expecting to be Jennie's roommate and she accepts that but, why is she feeling a little disappointed.

"Oh no, not that I wanted Jennie to be here- I mean, n-no.. uhm really, I was glad you're my p-partner."

Lisa was stammering as she faces the latter, walking towards her own bed. She doesn't even know why she's having a hard time explaining herself. Lia nod politely even if she knows Lisa's answer is a bit of a lie, but she let it go for now since she saw how exhausted Lisa looks.

Lisa put her belongings in one of the cabinets the resort provided. She neatly arranged the stuff that she mostly and commonly uses every day. When she was satisfied with the arrangement, Lisa got back to her bed and lay down with a sigh. Lia was just scrolling through her phone with a big smile on her face and Lisa thought she might talking to her girlfriend.

Yes, lia has a girlfriend that's why she was confident that the latter will never hit on her or steal kisses just like Joy always does.

"You sleeping?" Lia asks without taking her eyes away from her phone, still has a mischievous smile on her face.

Lisa just wanted to rest her body but when she heard the word sleep, her eyes felt tired and any minute from now, she's sure she'll fall asleep. She doesn't have a proper sleep since yesterday from the thought of fetching Jennie to her apartment. She was rehearsing her words and how will she handle the girl, which thankfully, handled it pretty well.

"Hm, yeah. I'm exhausted, don't mind me." Lisa responded and cover her full body with the sheets.

That's the last thing she remembers before she fell asleep from tiredness.

"Uh.. w-which bed do you want to occupy?" Irene stuttered as she asks Seulgi.

They are inside of their room and the woman might seem tense a little from Seulgi's presence, but Seulgi just shrugged it off thinking Irene was just not fond of strangers. Maybe she needed to adjust and Seulgi will give her time to do it. The taller girl just thinks for a second before a smile appeared on her face.

"You? Which bed do you think is the biggest?"

The answer was obvious just by comparing the two beds in front, but Seulgi wanted to hear Irene speak to make her comfortable with the situation. Irene on the other hand gave her a weird look before she looks at the beds and slowly pointed the biggest bed.

"Uhm, the left side?"

Irene thought maybe Seulgi wanted the bigger bed since she's taller than the latter. Irene understands though, it doesn't matter who occupies the nicest bed, as long as she was Seulgi's roommate, it's enough.

"Great! Then that will be yours." Seulgi said coolly as she walks towards the bathroom without looking back at Irene.

Lisa woke up when she feels her stomach grumbles out of hunger, that's when she realized she didn't eat any food since they arrive. It was already 4 pm in the wall clock when she have taken a glance at it. Even if she wanted to sleep more, her hunger doesn't let her. So with tired eyes, Lisa gets her towel and walks towards the bathroom to clean herself before going down.

Lia was not in the room and she thought the girl might be outside, strolling with her friends at the seaside since it's already sunset. Lisa took a glance at the glass door and noticed their room has a veranda outside, a perfect place to spend her night later. Lisa proceeded to step inside the bathroom and lock the door behind her. The small space was kinda steamy as if there was someone who had recently finished taking its hot bath.

And maybe it really has.

"Oh shit! S-Sorry Lia, I thought no one's i-inside-" Lisa was panicking as she immediately bows down her head, hiding her eyes from the sight of a woman who's just covered with a small white towel. With her eyes shut, byul stretch her arms to the door frame, trying to find where the doorknob is so she could get out quickly.

"Fuck."

But Lisa was astounded when the woman cursed behind her, and holy mother of hell..That voice ain't belong to Lia.

Lisa instantly looks around to confirm if her conclusion was right.. if the owner of that voice is..

"Jennie?!"
