Chapter 3 - Hello, old friend

The four PSI boys walked through the hallway, the ginger cyborg leaning softly onto his younger twin. Lucas was telling them about the visit they payed to Dr. Mario.

"I'm so proud of Claus, he did really well. He didn't attack either of us, and was rather calm. I managed to help him relax when Mr. Mario took the blood sample. I know that needles and other doctor related stuff reminds him of bad memories, so I stayed there the whole time."

Ness smiled at that, and gave Lucas a pat on the shoulder.
Claus hissed at him, pushing Ness away.

"Don't touch him!"

The capped boy groaned in pain, rubbing his aching arm.

"Ouwch.. Watt was sat fo'? I sidn' do anythsin' w'ong?!"

Lucas gently embraced his twin, trying to calm the feral chimera down. Soon Claus stopped trying to kill Ness, and just hissed at him. The four boys stayed quiet for a while. Finally, the blond took a deep breath and gently made Claus sit down.

"Claus.. Why are You so angry at Ness? What did he ever do to you?" he asked, in rather calm voice. Lucas knew that yelling would make things even worse.
The cyborg looked away. He didn't dare to look into his brother's eyes.

"I just can't let him harm you.." he almost whispered, ashamed.
Lucas kneeled down to his sibling's level, and pat him softly.

"Oh Clausy, do You really think that Ness would hurt me? He's too much of a softie anyways. He even hesitates whenever we face against each other in the Smash fights." the blonde said, laughing a little. His brother rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Dude, it's super obvious you like-like him. I'm not THAT blind, i still have one eye left." Claus said, in an angry tone.

Both Ness and Lucas blushed softly at that comment. They didn't know how to respond. Ninten looked at them nervously, and stood up in the middle of them.

"Woah, guys? I don't want this to turn into a fight, so, uhm..yeah, please stop." he said, and let out a nervous chuckle.
Claus just looked away, and almost whispered a response.

"I guess that pig ass gave me trust issues or something."

Lucas frowned, but didn't said anything, becouse the speakers suddently started to air a message.

"Beware all Smashers, the infamous Ultimate Chimera managed to break free, and now is on loose. We're trying to handle the situation already. Experienced and tough Smashers may assist us in catching this chimera, but the rest should stay in their rooms. The chimera can be extremely dangerous, and very tough to handle"

The PK Boys looked up, and quickly processed the information. Lucas gulped, and leaned into Ness instantly.

"Not that chimera again.."

Claus was the only one that looked unaffected by this. Ninten looked at him confused, but decided to shrug it off. The Smashers's safety was very important.

The cyborg began searching through the halls, inspecting and sniffing the areas. Other boys decided to not question it. He seemed to know what he's doing.

Some time passed, and the psychics heard roars and growls. Soon they saw the chimera, walking around. It seemed to be searching for something. But suddently it noticed them, and started to run towards the boys.
Claus was standing in front of them, and simply stood there.
Lucas wanted to run away, but he stayed hidden behind his sibling. Ness and Ninten held their baseball bats tightly, watching.

The three of them closed their eyes and held their breaths, as the red chimera was getting closer, and closer, untill..

Claus tackled Ultimate Chimera, grabbing its sides. They rolled on the ground, and Lucas felt like he was going to cry soon, but then they heard.. laughing?
