last time we ended the chapter we left Y/n was in front of the crystal gems kneeling surprising the three, and all the kings horse and all kings men couldn't put the crystal gems composure together again.

Garnet: What?!

Y/n: *looks up* did you not get all that? let me start again *coughs then looks down*. My name is obsidian and I am here to protect the friends of rose quartz and her son.

Pearl: *sweats a little as she panics a little* but- um we're not rose quartz friends.... *laughs nervously*

Y/n: *looks up* really okay then I apologize I need to start my search for them then *makes sword disappear and gets up before turning around and walking away*

Seconds pass before the gems register what happens and Amethyst starts shouting

amethyst: HEY IF YOU WOULDN'T MIND! CAN WE GET OUR FRIENDS BACK!!!

Y/n: *turns around* Sorry but, they knew that if they fused to form me. We could not separate until i have my form back completely.

Pearl: then why would they fuse to form you?

Y/n: I made a promise to help Rose Quart's son and her friends and I will do whatever it takes to fulfill that promise. *glances at Pearl* Even if they don't want my help. *addresses them all* The gems that fused to make me can gain control at anytime they want. If they ever want or need to come out they will take control of my current form and turn into what they look like and then they control- well, this form.

they all have blank faces at this time

Y/n: Anyway see you later *Starts running before summoning his whip and shoots it at an injector on the wall before jumping and swinging onto the mountain's top before making the whip disappear before traveling down the mountain himself*

Garnet: Alright so that happened.

Pearl: What do we do our friends fused together into that somehow and we can't beat him what are we going to do.

Amethyst: Yeah this is bad, although that whip thing was cool. Their gone and who knows what this promise was. what do we do Garnet.

Garnet: We'll be fine for now that thing won't be in beach city for 3 days so we need to prepare, and we have to deal with the important thing here.

Amethyst: And what in the world is more important then our buddies stuck in a fusion.

Pearl: STEVEN!

Amethyst: Oh, boy. what are we going to tell him!

Garnet: We just need to get on the warp pad and tell Steven the truth and hope he takes it well.

Pearl, Amethyst: Right!

they all begin walking to the warp pad

(Meanwhile no one's pov)

Y/n: 'Alright so first day being "alive" and I successfully freaked out the people who are supposed to be friends and they likely won't trust me best bet is meeting up with Steven and talking to them later.' *sees a freight train passing by* 'and that is the first step'

Y/n Runs down the hill going faster and faster as the whip is summoned around his chest approaching the train as it continues to move. Y/n eventually jumps as the train starts to pass him as he looks down at it and unwraps his whip before shooting it out as the train zooms by. With Y/n landing on the roof roughly before skidding to a top slightly sliding left on the rooftop holding onto his whip that is tied around the one of the metal bars around the front of the train and gripping the right side of a boxcar.
